Very predictable start to this game. We have most of the possession, not much to show for it, they defend very deep looking for a good breakaway and hanging on.

West Ham took their chances and played well. But I believe on another day and with a bit more luck Brighton would have won but as the old cliché goes its about taking your chances.
We could pound Sheffield tomorrow and lose 1-0. You can never tell.
Just watched United penalty. Would that have been given away? Not sure What’s the view on this? Did it go to VAR? Anyhow it was given that’s it!

Lucky. From outside London everything is London centric
Eg The reporting I’ve just described
The weather forecast (yes this too)
The TV adverts. Looking at the actors you assume everybody lives in a society like Haringay or Brent.(This is not the place to elucidate but not difficult to interpret)
The majority of investment etc etc etc.

And that’s from someone who spent most of his working life there 3 days a week.

It’s not that important really but it irks many who live elsewhere. 😇😇

Lucky. The best team will win the league its as simple as that. I can understand why others wouldn’t want us to win it again. Fair enough but it’s the TV promoting Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham all the time. What about Nottingham, Sheffield, Wolves, Everton Brentford, Brighton etc .They just get a cursory glance.

Just watching Sky build up. Have I missed something or are Arsenal the only team in the League.
The London bias just gets more pathetic. Why should anyone else bother playing. But they did win the Community Shield.
Plus they’ve spent something like £200m. Will they be referred to as “big spending Arsenal ” I doubt it. Nothing against them as a club or team it’s the ridiculous reporting Anybody mentioning how the collapsed under pressure last year? I doubt it.

So many results looked nailed on but it rarely works out that way. We could easily lose at Sheffield without Pep . I quite fancy Liverpool at Newcastle if they get the team working.

I’ve never seen him play. Only clips but that proves nothing. The one bit I have seen is that if I were a fullback I would be worried taking him on, one on one. He looks pretty nippy but I’d question his control. But with Grealish on one wing and this guy on the other it might be tricky to defend against. However, the French league is not the EPL so we’ll see.
What it does do is give an extra more unpredictable dimension. I often think this is where, thankfully, Klopp gets it wrong. No plan B?

Including today City net spend so far £95m. More than expected. (United £131m ) I am not surprised at United as they need to refresh
Chelsea £125m, Arsenal £171m
Enormous spend by Arsenal
Ours and Chelsea net spend relatively low as both have made good sales.
Still a week to 🚶‍♀️ 🎠
