Watching the highlights it shows there are very few easy games any more in the CL.
Also there are too many yellow cards for minor tackles. And too many soft penalties. Athletics Madrid and ours, two cases in point.

Why do the press regularly have a go at Haaland for not scoring every opportunity. We all know that’s not possible. I wouldn’t swap him for anybody. Which team in the world wouldn’t want him.

Chelsea were disappointing. There isn’t much cohesion but not surprising considering all the changes. Arsenal fought well but were allowed back into the game by poor goalkeeping
Not much else to say except bad substitutions by Poch. Cost the game taking the two best attackers off.

Once again (broken record appears) We have dreadful refereeing. I just give up. Ludicrous decisions two yellows for one, correctly, not for the other. Yet again, although the rules are at fault, another nonsense handball.
I give up. Almost can’t be bothered to watch any more. Even City. The rules and the refereeing has ruined the game and that’s just watching as a neutral.

Could have been two yellows yes.
This is a men’s game. Not a game for fairies.
There’s too much diving and playacting trying to con the ref.
I’m pretty sure this idiot will brandish a red before the end. Thing is , its not been remotely dirty.
Just watched HT chat. Kovacic v v lucky not to get two yellows.
Pep needs to sub him at HT . Otherwise we’ll be down to ten men in no time.
When I used to play a long long time ago at a decent amateur level (Northern Nomads) you had to be tough and you didn’t try and get the opposition down to 10 men.

Long for those days. In the era of Summerbee, Bell, Lee etc. there was non of this. Dinosaur you may say.

Every game I watch its the same. Con the ref, berate the ref, nonsense VAR.
