Was a very good game, thought England probably edged it. England have a lot of young talent, Bellingham, Rice, Saka, Foden (bit ineffective tonight however) so the future looks good for you.

The ref was terrible, must have been 3 blatant fouls that were ignored.

Unfortunately, the standards of Refereeing Internationally have dropped. In my view against previous decades of Tournament World Stage Football, 1990 Referees for me were wholesome better. No-nonsense and ability to be confident to make a Decision.

Adlab, you just can’t believe nobody in this England set up has managed the penalty procedures better and thought more about it given how often we have them. From the Euro final when we threw on 2 non warmed up players, to today when you have clubmates involved in 2 penalties. It’s fine margins but that’s where you win and lose. Just a little bit more thinking was involved.

Kanes miss was dreadful, I can understand if Lloris had saved it, but he’s ballooned it way over the bar, not even close. I feel for the guy, but this defeat lies firmly at Tottenhams door. It’s all Tottenhams fault.
