Thatโs how you take a free kick. Brilliant goal
Pity Foden dived for the free though. Poor from him

29th November 2022 at 8:16 pm #201367I knew the Free-kick was goal-bound. Sometimes you can just tell.

29th November 2022 at 8:17 pm #201368The 2 players we were crying out for last Friday.

29th November 2022 at 8:23 pm #201369Wales have been poor. They’ve had one good half of football vs the US. Wouldn’t judge England too greatly tonight.

29th November 2022 at 8:29 pm #201370That’s Breathtaking and something I haven’t seen; that courage and ability to cut inside, keep on going, then still having the audacity to test the Wales Keeper.
Game-Set-Match!

29th November 2022 at 8:32 pm #201371Agree Mikus, they have spirit but a real lack of quality. Maybe, they’ve made England look good tonight. But can’t take nothing away from Rashford and Foden.

29th November 2022 at 8:47 pm #201372Rashford unplayable when he’s on this kind of form. Foden has been good. Mount can’t come back into this side. Henderson much more authoritative while offering as much at both ends of the pitch.

29th November 2022 at 8:58 pm #201373I like something different that turns out to be a good tactical change. Naturally if sanctioned by Southgate, then kudos to him and the man deserves praise. That switch of Foden and Rashford was effective; both players expressed themselves playing their natural game and finding space.

29th November 2022 at 9:04 pm #201374Much better performance from England but to keep it in perspective Wales were woeful.

29th November 2022 at 9:05 pm #201375I don’t think many will get carried away from beating Wales Nine. They’re a poor team

29th November 2022 at 9:20 pm #201377Yeah will be an interesting game between them and Netherlands Sean. Half fancy them actually in that, even if Netherlands were one of my outside shouts at the beginning

29th November 2022 at 9:21 pm #201378Ye Ed, rashford has everything in his armour to be world class. I really think something going on last few years as he just looked totally uninterested and even sad!
New man under ten hagg this season and should be starting here on in

29th November 2022 at 9:35 pm #201379Yeh there feels something very rounded about that US side. Just perhaps lacking a touch of quality here and there, though Pulisic very good.

29th November 2022 at 9:37 pm #201380Yeah too early to suggest Rashford has turned a corner but something hasn’t been right for a while with him. Thought at one point he was doing a Delle Alli but he seems to have found some form again.

30th November 2022 at 7:28 am #201381Ye mikuis, Iโve enjoyed watching USA especially there midfield. First time Iโve really seen mckennie and Adanโs works his nuts off. Ream very good player and having a great season at Fulham
Bale or Ramsey were not fit enough for the wc. The whole team were well out of their debt

30th November 2022 at 9:07 am #201383Lots of variables and factors to consider. Very easy to be in the moment and elevate somebody and rightly so because the guy really performed and it was refreshing.
We’re more used to seeing one set of dynamics, e.g. Kane mostly being the main target man. We’re more suited I think on the counter-attack than being on the front foot where the opposition resist us.
To my recollection, how often has Rashford started for Man United and has he been placed as a natural center-forward and as the main talisman? All players experience depreciation in form. That affects your confidence which is huge, so question marks then lie in the direction of coaching and management which I feel shoulder a lot of responsibility to try and change that and support a player when he is down.
I would say if truth be told, last night where all the magic came from the second half was flattering. Wales only had 26% possession in the first half. They are poor essentially.
Of course, it will be a much different proposition facing anybody now going forwards. Not really an escape to avoid Netherlands because Senegal will definitely be a challenge and definitely by no means a pushover.

30th November 2022 at 9:09 am #201384As a side, anybody see the other night Piers Morgan? He interviewed the main guy of Quatar leading this World Cup. I thought personally, he gave a good account of himself.

30th November 2022 at 9:47 am #201385I wouldnโt be going overboard about rashfordโฆ played well no doubt but both goals would have been saved by even a half decent keeper โฆ
