Prem’s a different beast, a young kid from Germany to replace Eddy Hazard? I hope it’s true as it’s only going to weaken them…

2nd January 2019 at 11:24 am #30635Pulisic is very young and heβs only going to get better. Very good signing for Chelsea
Ironic thing is sancho ex city player is keeping him out of the team most weeks but he is a very very good player and thatβs a good price Chelsea got for him in the current market
Hazard may still say and him signing a new contract be absolutely massive for the club

2nd January 2019 at 11:26 am #30636Also I think Chelsea will get a crazy feee for Hudson. Already rejected 20m for a player who is not even getting regular time off the bench
Chelsea are very savy in the transfer market these days

2nd January 2019 at 11:32 am #30637Why would Pulisc’s arrival mean the end of Hazard at Chelsea? They play on different sides of the pitch. Probably means the end of either Willian or Pedro. If Hazard goes it won’t be because of Pulisic.
Pulisic is class. Seen him a few times come off the bench for BvB when they needed something different and he changed the game. But as Sean says Sancho is keeping him out of the team this season and looks a beast already. He will surely return to England one day for a huge fee. Hope City didn’t insert a buy back clause!

2nd January 2019 at 11:52 am #30638Pulisic has played wide left many times in the times Iβve seen him play
He can play in any position behind the striker in 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3

2nd January 2019 at 12:17 pm #30642Pulisic is a very good signing and the deal was done now to ensure Chelsea got him. He plays primarily wide right but can play anywhere. It might signal the departure of Hazard or it could mean signings of that quality convince him to stay. We’ll see. Glad to see it wrapped up. π

2nd January 2019 at 12:20 pm #30646Pulisic is not yet class, but is a very, very ,very talented player! Can see his arrival meaning the end for Willian and Pedro
Arse close to signing Under from Roma, another very young and talented player, similar to Pulisic. And talking of Sancho, what a player!

2nd January 2019 at 12:47 pm #30649Chelsea are probably the best top team that has adapted to FFP in terms of player recruitment and getting business done early. They donβt mess around.

2nd January 2019 at 1:09 pm #30657AnonymousWhat a shock this signing has been. Liverpool have been very interested in him but have sat on their hands a bit and i guess this is what happens. I mean, I’m not complaining about our business, maybe it’s a case of them seeing GK or CB as more of a priority and if so, could you say they were wrong?
congrats though. The thing about him, besides what he’ll offer you on the pitch, is now that he’s been sold for Β£57m, the reaction to this in America will be huge. He’ll be a household name for them real soon and you know what that means. MILLIONS of shirt sales, with some of them being the seed for a new fan.

2nd January 2019 at 1:17 pm #30660Yeah Mak I don’t know if Klopp was ever really chasing him was he. I know we got linked with him a lot & Klopp said he likes him as a player but did we make an offer & actively pursue him? Top player & a very good buy for chelSki though, be good to see how he goes in the EPL. I don’t think we can complain about Klopps business for LFC, he’s definitely putting the pieces of the puzzle together nicely & strengthening where we need it. Hopefully we can hang on to our lead & finally win the EPL this season but if not I’m sure he will make another savvy addition or 2 & we will be right up there again next season.

2nd January 2019 at 1:37 pm #30665Mak-There are so many young and talented players your club has been linked with besides Pulisic, the likes of K.Haverts and L.Bailey of Leverkusen,Sancho of Dortmund,C.Under of Roma,N.Pepe of Lille,I.Sarr of Stade Rennais,Asensio of R.Madrid.Thing is,where would any of them fit in @ this Liverpool side?

2nd January 2019 at 1:41 pm #30666Read somewhere Klopp was interested but was thinking about where he might actually fit him in the 1st 11, which if you think about it, is a decent problem for Pool. 58 million on a sub is a bit of a stretch I would have thought for Pool at the moment (not 100% up to speed with their “spend”).
And as much as I’m not a fan of Chelski, I have to agree they have been “playing” the system better than everybody else over the last 5 years or so…

2nd January 2019 at 1:44 pm #30667Threeps – My understanding is that City do have a first refusal/buy-back clause in Sancho’s transfer to Dortmund. Good news for us because he’s developing into a huge talent. He was initially let go because, at 18 yo, we couldn’t guarantee him 1st team football and certainly not ahead of Foden and Diaz. Unfortunately, it looks like we might lose Diaz to RM.
