Basically like saying to your girlfriend “Sure I’ll marry you. I just want to wait until the last minute, though, to see if one of these other girls wants me, first. If not, I’m all yours!”. Talk about the player controlling the situation. This is when a club needs to grow a pair and just sell him at a certain cut off point if he doesn’t sign. He’d have had plenty of takers at that sort of price 12 months ago.

15th February 2019 at 9:59 am #33700Levy will sell Eriksen in the Summer if he doesn’t sign a new contract but Spurs will get considerably less for him this Summer than last Summer same applies to Hazard. If Eriksen is really looking for a move to Spain he’s not going to sign a contract extension now that would be foolish.

15th February 2019 at 2:21 pm #33715Hilarious.?
I think the CL is Spurs best chance even though there will be some mighty teams left in it by the time it reaches the Qtr Finals.
In the PL if Spurs were just chasing one teams they would have a better chance I just can’t see them overhauling both City and Liverpool.

Would love to see Spuds win one of the big ears, and to see what the likes of Poch & wee Viking do about their futures[ and joining Spuds fans in Landan in their celebrations to get pissed].

15th February 2019 at 5:31 pm #33725Mav, you can never say never mate who would have said that Liverpool would win it in 2005 and Chelsea in 2012. But I hope not!?

15th February 2019 at 8:03 pm #33738Hmm, not seemingly always in a good place to be; “City in with a real chance of winning it this time”
Not a great deal of support for Liverpool. I do notice that, often as far as all quarters goes on these particular pages.

16th February 2019 at 8:58 am #33744I think Sean is right winning the CL is a major priority for City and Pep and they do have a real chance of winning it this season but it’s not a given as when we get to the Qtr Finals and the Semi Finals there will be a number of very strong sides left in it.
I’ve got a feeling it will be one of City, Barca or Juve who will win but it’s difficult to chose a winner now.

16th February 2019 at 2:40 pm #33745Not sure we quite have it to wicn the CL. Our defence is not quite solid enough. BUT on a good day we could!

16th February 2019 at 3:14 pm #33746That’s the one area at the highest level that might let City down Adlab but offensively you are so strong .
City are very close to having a side capable of winning the CL if not this season then within the next few seasons but if it’s not this season you may need to tweak things defensively a tad to try and make it happen it is preety much your only weakness.
