So, there we go, Nuno gone and I’m thinking wee Ryan gets to sit in the big chair for a bit (althouhg I suspect it might be a bit longer than anticiapted!)…
Obvioulsy wasn’t working, and some of blame does rest at Nuno’s size 9’s, but equally it also rests at the feet of a few others too.
As far as I’m concerned, to salvage anythign from this season, Mr. Lewis needs to wake up and think “Sod it, can’t take it with me, let’s have a bit of fun!” and give Conte whatever the hell he wants, including a nice warchest…
Other than that, I think I’ll go for Mr. Potter (and give him a few more than 10 games!)…
The only saving grace is the next 6/7 games in the Prem are against “lesser” opposition so would be a good time to get a bit of confidence back hopefully.

1st November 2021 at 10:11 am #187893Potter seems perfect for me banjo. Very good football, improves players and will not demand the world.
Conte would be fantastic if levy will give him the support he wants. Conte is not a defensive manager, people only believe that myth because his sides concede few goals and generally have a good defence. His sides in general score plenty of goals and create plenty of chances. I don’t see it happening though.
Rumours that fonseca being considered again which again just shows levy up as he was overlooked for nuno. Also just heard that porto manager in contention?
Best of luck to you banjo, league needs a better spurs and you deserve some positivity for a change.

1st November 2021 at 10:17 am #187897Tottenham board feeling ‘more than confident’ to convince Antonio Conte and appoint him as new manager to replace Nuno. Talks progressing right now with Conte’s camp. ⚪️🇮🇹 #THFC
He’s asking an important plan for next transfers window and long-term contract. Paratici is on it.

1st November 2021 at 10:18 am #187898Based on the fact that Levy went way off the profile he drew up for the Spurs Manager with the appointment of Nuno I wouldn’t rule out Sean Dyche.😊

1st November 2021 at 10:24 am #187902No doubt Conte would sort Spurs out but given his personality and Levy how long would it last?
Conte’s second season at Chelsea was painful.
Be an interesting couple of seasons though for Spurs fans and the PL.

1st November 2021 at 10:28 am #187905Nine, to be fair, he was expected to retain title after losing key players and not getting replacements he wanted. He for sure was half to blame but the circumstances at spurs will be complete different.

1st November 2021 at 10:30 am #187907Conte would be brilliant and yes his not a defensive coach, even Ferguson said to be successful your defence must be a priority. The rest sort of follows. However I doubt if he will accept Levys terms. Why would Levy suddenly change his stance.

1st November 2021 at 10:37 am #187911Haha Lucky. I think he’ll be great for Spurs if he goes there. Never my first choice for Utd though I think he’d have been good for a season or so
