Here is the squad i wish starts on Sunday away against Westham.
Kepa (stays in goal though for sure he has had a steady fazing in. Still waiting for him to have a challenging match and for him to stand out when needed.)
Azpi (no question , no comment. Looks like Sarri has already decided he will be captain this season)
Alonso (one of our hidden creative forces when attacking, looking forward to see how he will handle the fast Westham wingers ie Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson)
Rudiger (been good and should continue, though Sarri should have rested him and given Cahill a chance to play)
Luiz (one of our old guards, was rested for Thursday and never traveled. Looking to see how he will handle Arnautovic that is if he plays. It was reported he may be injured. But this is a player who has a record of tormenting Chelsea.)
Kante (Lord Kante)
Jorginho (the architect and controller. After the trip to Greece, Jorginho looked very tired and off in the game. There was one positive though, Fabregas looks like that good replacement. Fabregas amazing passing continued to be highlighted in the few minutes that he played. Only issue is that Westham has very strong midfielders)
Kovacic ( hope his miner injury healed and he is fit to start. We need a technically gifted player in such games. Yes i respect Barkely but he seems to have a weakness when it comes to defending.)
Hazard (no comment, but can we have CHO come on for the last 10 minutes if Chelsea is leading)
Willian (Pedro may not be 100% fit so this makes it easy to decide this time. With Willian it would be great to see Hazard get off our corner set-pieces. He has really been awful in that section.)
Giroud (We all know why, if you cannot score then you should create. And Giroud currently does that better than Morata)
Subs
Caballero, Christensen, Barkley, Fabregas, Morata, Moses, Emerson_____________________________

22nd September 2018 at 11:00 am #26564Chelsea look a real threat this season and are playing with much more freedom under Sarri. With Morata, is he just really struggling for form or is he not good enough for this level? He looked a real player when he first joined Chelsea. He has all the qualities to be a real force in the PL

22nd September 2018 at 12:50 pm #26565Really like Jorginho. Be good to see how he gets on when really pressed and put under pressure . Lovely touch and great passer
Always liked giroud. Much better player then people give him credit. Always causes us problems

22nd September 2018 at 1:23 pm #26566Kaliboy, really nice to see another Chelsea poster on here. I suspect the team you’ve put forward will be the team but personally with no Pedro I would have Hudson Odoi on the bench.
Ed, “With Morata, is he just really struggling for form or is he not good enough for this level? He looked a real player when he first joined Chelsea. He has all the qualities to be a real force in the PL”.
Probably the perfect summary Morata was getting into some good positions on Thursday and the offside goal he scored which was offside he took beautifully so there’s still a very good player in him imo. As Sarri said after the PAOK Morata needs the confidence that scoring goals will only bring. If Morata gets a couple he may well kick on from there. But Chelsea currently are desperately missing a free scoring striker despite being PL top scorers.
Apparently there’s a guy at Atletico who is a real handful is regularly banging them in and would work really well with Hazard and Willian if only we had a player like that.?
