Tough away game today at the Hawthorns. I expect a typical well organised defensive set up by Pulis. With a fair bit if professional fouling of our playmakers thrown in for good measure. To be honest I have never liked Pulis and his snide comments or the way his team’s play. But that’s his choice and challenge to break down. Jim

Sterling very unlucky to be on the bench imo. Simply as Bernardo Silva does not offer as much going forward as Sterling. Aguero on the bench after his miss fest midweek.

Went to the game today. Good professional performance from the lads – dominated from first whistle to last – only criticism would be a few wasted chances, Merlin (2) and De Bruyne the stand outs – hopefully saving them for next two games.
James McLean – What a F**king lowlife, again deciding to wear a shirt without the Poppy. Is he that thick that he can’t comprehend that if it wasn’t for men and women making the ultimate sacrifice, he wouldn’t now be in a position to earn the 000’s of £ a week his (extremely limited) ability allows him to. What a t**t.

Another tough away win chalked up – good to see us winning the games we would have drawn over the last few seasons. Need to keep going as a few tough weeks coming up that could undo the great start we’ve had.

GJblues – McLeans decision not to wear a poppy is shocking in my view. Very poor form to disrespect the hero’s that protected his freedom to make such a decision

James McLean appears to have not moved on from the troubles like Maguiness and Paisley. He knows the controversey he caused by not wearing a poppy. Happy to have a little petty dig at those who died for his freedom while still earning his living in the country that he clearly still resents. Personally if i were the chairman of West Brom I wouldn’t employ such a person.

Maybe it wasn’t as bad as it looked to me? I agree with the
sentiments towards him.

The one positive I hope Pep took from the game.Is Johnny
Evans is nowhere near the standard we need.For me.Pep should put
his trust in Toisin.
