Agree Pagan. Has anyone heard a reason why they don’t use the screen? Only thing I heard is they are instructed not to as it might slow the game down too much. Pretty ironic saying some decisions have taken 3 minutes to decide without the screens!

20th February 2020 at 9:27 am #72445But that just moves the issue along as to whether it was in the grey area or not. Wouldn’t change anything. VAR i believe will always result in looking at minuscule deciding factors, doesn’t matter where the on/off line is or how thick.

They really just need to offer some leeway. Attacker advantage for close calls and do away with the millimeter nonsense.

If he cant make his mind up within a short time then give the advantage to the attacker. Let’s get away from the high level precision method and inject some common sense back into the game.
