But back on topic you said that there wasn’t a media agenda against sterling. I believe there is and it isn’t related to football.

Adlab, I think there’s a lot with Liverpool connections in the media and they are anxious for them to win something that gives them a bit of a positive vibe across certain media. But seriously mate the Police aren’t part of any agenda, as Jim says it was just plain bad policing.

I was talking about sterlings form for England and the stick he gets off the media for his shite performances.

Last year you were saying city eere getting kicked around and refs were againest them. Some terrible tackles but the refs missed them. No agenda. Liverpool

It’s not just city fans. I only come across City fans on here so that’s my precept ion of them now. Liverpool fans blaming Ramos for Salah and claiming Karius was concussed. It’s embarassing. The excuses from

Club bias on here is a joke. Few lads on here are objective but a lot are not. Grown men having pathetic arguments. Our players are better then yours and all that rubbish. Joke

So you agree there is an agenda then Sean. My point is Sterling is on the end of a media led agenda, which is separate from his football. I don’t believe it’s to do with Racism like Ian Wright thinks, we I hope it’s not. I beleive it was originally drummed up by ex liverpool players and the many biased liverpool pundits who pilloried him for leaving liverpool. The media just jumped on to the bandwagon and made him a target. Now you can call that bias if you want but if you accept that there is a media agenda then it is reasonable to theorise as to why there is one?

But clearly if we wernt biased this forum would be pretty dull. I remember discussing with you why City fans dislike Milner you were baffled as to why. But the reasons are obvious to us. The same as why Liverpool fans dislike Sterling but we don’t really see it. Although I might add Sterling’s actions resulted in a big transfer fee for Liverpool where as Milners mercenary actions only resulted in a big signing on fee for himself.

With regards to the tackles yes I did say that initially i thought there was an agenda but I beleive I did retract that belief and clarified that I thought some refs were being subconsciously lenient on the opposing teams with either letting the players off or just dishing out yellow cards as a way of possibly evening out the games. I still sort of beleive that, as we were on the end of so many really really poor tackles which the ref choose to either ignore or book with a caution meaning no further action could be taken. We also got denied several stonewall pens and had players sent off for nothing. But hey ho.
