The PL is back with the biggest game of the weekend beng the Spurs v Liverpool game which
potentially looks like a score draw to me._____________________________

12th September 2018 at 2:40 pm #26209Come on Watforjd… easy peasy lemon squeezy…
Mentioned it on the other thread, have a feeling Spuds might be starting with both Son and Lucas agasint Salahpool, going to be interesting to see how Rip Van Winkle and Selena cope with that on the large Wembly pitch… somehow I’m not thinking 0-0…

Think spurs will beat us. First time this season Iβve thought we will drop points.
Kane always scores againest us and e arenβt great at 12.30 Saturday kick offs.
Can see Chelsea being top sat evening. Chelsea arenβt surprising me. Super squad and the nucleus of a side that won the league 18 months ago.
Utd will beat Watford who will steadily fall apart

12th September 2018 at 9:32 pm #26237Sean have you ever tipped Utd to lose? We’re terrible at the moment and Liverpool are flying!

12th September 2018 at 10:32 pm #26238Agree with Sean, our record is terrible in early kick offs. Had the game been late afternoon on a Sunday, or on Monday night, I’d be a lot more confident. Draw looks the obvious prediction as Nine said, but if Keita can start delivering for us, we may just have a chance to edge out a win because we’ve really missed that kind of presence and impact in midfield.
As for Man Utd, I wouldn’t say there’s a crisis yet, but even though they look to be starting to turn a corner, I just don’t see enough harmony in that side. They have some good effective proven league players and they may well steady the ship in coming weeks, but will that be enough to keep the pressure off JosΓ©??

13th September 2018 at 7:54 am #26243Ed, I think Watford are well over achieving and will be brought back to earth on Sunday. I donβt think utd are in as much disarray as people are making out and I expect them to win comfortably on sat
Mikus, keita has done well so far but he can do so much better. People are making such a big deal of him being on the bench v Leicester. He is going to be on the bench in some games but he needs to start sat.
We have a run of 7 games which will really show us were we are at and if are the real deal
Spurs is such a tough place to go. Iβd take a draw now. We fell apart after the first international break last season so we canβt let it happen again

13th September 2018 at 7:59 am #26244It’s just too tough to call, both teams have enough fire-power to hurt anybody, both teams have a pretty decent defensive unit… I can’t see it being quite as one-sided as it was last year, that’s for sure…

13th September 2018 at 8:51 am #26245Anonymousi can see liverpool winning the midfield battle with ease and that will be the decider. we need to stick with 4 at the back, rose in for davies, with dembele and wanyama in the middle and son eriksen and lucas supporting kane. i’m still not hopeful but think that gives us the best chance.

13th September 2018 at 8:54 am #26246We were totally over run in midfield last season pax in both games
If we go with midfield 3 imwe did last year, we will lose
Not confident at all and I fully expect Kane to score a few

13th September 2018 at 9:01 am #26247Anonymousyou were, but this season you are much stronger in midfield. dembele is past it and wanyama and dier arent good enough. our hope is toby getting the ball forward, bypassing midfield and our front 4 need to be on theit game.
