No real “big-dog” clash this week, nothing that gets the juices flowing in the PREM, but hoping Friday Nights Top of the Table clash between Leeds and Middlesbourgh is on my box… that could be a goodin!

1st September 2018 at 1:49 pm #26030AnonymousAnd thatβs why I do t rate Allison. Was having a very decent game but heβs a liability.

1st September 2018 at 1:53 pm #26031True enough Pax Alisson can be a bit too overconfident with the ball at his feet. Makes it a bit more interesting.

1st September 2018 at 1:58 pm #26032AnonymousBeen a cracking game though. Liverpool deserved a half time lead but thought 2-0 was a bit harsh. Leicester werenβt bad, Liverpool were just better. Second half been all Leicester.

1st September 2018 at 2:25 pm #26033AnonymousGood win for Liverpool. Thought Leicester deserved more but Liverpool did what they had to do. Such a shame to still be hearing Carragher a voice on my tv though.

1st September 2018 at 2:26 pm #26034Liverpool have been unimpressive in their last three games but defensively despite the silly goal conceded today they are strong now defendivrly and dangerous offensively. 9 points from 3 games when not playing great is a significant plus.
Looking forward to the City game attack v defence should be exciting.

1st September 2018 at 2:42 pm #26035Klopp should have brought on those subs earlier than he did. Missed Keita getting a hold of it in midfield today. Instead he waited until we conceded. Regrettably it was always going to be a case of when Allison got caught not if and it shouldn’t have taken him conceding to wake up to it. Obviously great to still win and every fan can live with winning whilst not being at their best, but if we’re going for the title, we have to nitpick.

1st September 2018 at 6:02 pm #26040Couldn’t ask for better than 12 points from 4 games just another circa 64 needed to hopefully reclaim a CL place.?

1st September 2018 at 6:40 pm #26044City 1-1
Not clicking at all today. Toon one attack of note. We clearly miss the drive of KDB.
Sloppy passing and not enough movement……but a great strike there from Walker 2-1_____________________________

1st September 2018 at 6:50 pm #26045Chelsea really have mastered the art of putting together one of the best and most robust playing squads in the league, in that regardless of whether the manager is changed, the team and new manager don’t seem to need a long transition period to settle in. There seems to be an incredible stability there that ensures they can challenge for the title on a regular basis as they don’t build their teams around a manager.

1st September 2018 at 6:56 pm #26047Mikus, I think Chelsea are still a couple of players short of a realistic title challenge currently but I’m hoping they can claim enough points to get back in the CL. But even that won’t be easy. Cheers 999

1st September 2018 at 7:04 pm #26048Perhaps not Nine, but I’m just very impressed the way they perform so seamlessly through managerial changes, and they’re looking pretty good at the moment.

1st September 2018 at 10:33 pm #26053Hard game vs a well organised Newcastle defence. City not quite at the races today, but still dominated the game. Just seen Alison blunder, you could say hes not quite up to Ederson standard with his feet.

2nd September 2018 at 6:05 pm #26064AnonymousWell poch royally fucked that one up. Poor team selection, poor tactics, poor changes. Why change the team that beat united 3-0. Why change the set up? Why not change it when itβs not working? Why leave Ben davies in for 89 minutes? Just did nothing right today. The players didnβt help but he failed to change it.
