Adlab, I like Foden. I’ve seen a good bit of him. He’s quite similar to David silva but no were near his level. He’s a very good young player who can get even better. Excellent close control and a nice left foot

He doesn’t play enough for me seeing as prp says he’s the best young players he’s ever worked with. He was whipped off after 55 mins today. I thoughtb that was pointless

Sean…he is being managed, next season onwards will his time, in the meantime he learns from good players around him and at his very young age that can only be good for him. Other teams have talented youngsters but what I have also noted they are thrust into the limelight far too soon and they then struggle with future development. We have not been short of players in the midfield area either
Foden will be a star at City, but will be brought up the right way as will Garcia and others breaking through

I know he’s still very young but if Ole plays Mason Greenwood regularly instead of Martial I think United have got a great chance of finishing in the top 4.

Saw two class players on the weekend that Chelsea just simply let go in Salah and De Bruyne. Neither were even close to where they are now in quality yet the Chelsea scouts identified something that was there. Lack of patience and opportunities back then. De Bruyne is amazing and a master class in striking of the football and simply a brilliant all round footballer. Salah’s recent record at Liverpool speaks for itself. If only.

67, as Frank said way before he even became a Manager let alone the Chelsea Manager there was no indications back then that either player was going to develop into anything close to the player that they have become.

I suspect even Klopp has to pinch himself when he thinks about the player he thought he was buying and the one he has now got.

But as you said “if only”.

Unpolished gems that needed a little more polishing, not just one but both. Maybe not the fault of the clnb itself, maybe the manager of the time. Jose had limited time for fringe players so maybe he is responsible. There must have been indications of potential greatness there 5 or 6 years back.

I think both Utd and Chelsea are too inconsistent for 4th spot. I’d make Spurs favourites from here. People say Mourinho doesn’t improve players. Tell that to Dele Alli. What a difference since Mourinho came in.

That Spurs Chelsea game is a big one next Sunday.

Also on loan in Germany in that time and scored 10 goals in 33 appearances. Sold to Wolfsburg for 18 million pounds

Salah at Chelsea 2014–2016 Chelsea appearances 13 goals (2) Managers 2016 Hiddink/Conte

Also on loan in Italy in that time as a registered Chelsea player and scored 20 goals in 50 appearances. Sold to Roma (it appears) for 15 million pounds.

Both have moved on to greatness and to say that I would be disappointed is an understatement.

Mourinho is a genius at motivating players that are down and massaging their egos. Probably used the us vs the whole world mentality as well. Those blokes clearly weren’t putting in for Poch and should be ashamed of themselves. That being only their second away win since January proves it. There has been an instant turn around in everything on the pitch. Mourinho just had to press the green button.

Ed, thanks ,that’s the kiss of death,you have a lot more faith in Spurs than I do. Jose has made a difference and for that he gets my vote, even though I don’t like his team selections where our creative mid field players are all on the bench . If Lo Celso, Ndombele and Sess start to get game time we would have a better chance of making a CL place, even though I believe the top is already sorted as it now stands.

67, to be fair Hiddink had Salah for a few weeks of his interim spell and Salah was loaned with an agreement to sell to Roma in the Summer of 2015 a year before Conte took over.
