Lucky, I’m not saying you’re not weaker. I’m just saying I would imagine the difference between Hazard and Pulisic isn’t as big as 3/4 league places. IMO Utd are weaker too though. Lukaku wasn’t a superstar but he was out top scorer last season. Our backup striker is a 17 year old kid.
Aside from strengthening at CB, I’d say Utd are weaker than last season. Last season we were the 6th best side in the league.
I agree though that if Ole finishes below Lampard he’ll be gone. Although, I’d say the opposite is true considering where I think we’ll finish

21st August 2019 at 12:04 pm #46042wow ed, cant believe you honestly believe utd are weaker! pulisic is young and hasnt won us a game yet like hazard did, that loss plus the other factors I have described imo greatly weaken us enough for us to go from 3rd to 6th easily.

21st August 2019 at 12:19 pm #46046Well we’re weaker up front as we lost a player who was our top scorer and brought nobody in.
Weaker in midfield because we lost the energy of Hererra, the goal threat of Fellaini and brought in another backup left winger with potential.
At the back we’re stronger with Maguire. AWB still has it all to prove. Valencia was decent enough before him.
So we’ve strengthened one position for definite but weakened the midfield and attack. Now I’m not saying the players we lost were that great but to expect kids to take the mantle is a huge ask.
So to summarise, yes we are the shit test of last season’s top 6. I’m sure City and Liverpool fans will agree ?

21st August 2019 at 1:59 pm #46057Ed, “Iβm just saying I would imagine the difference between Hazard and Pulisic isnβt as big as 3/4 league places.
Providing Pulisic chips in with 42% of the goals like Hazard did.
We were a 5th or 6th placed team last season imo and we only finished 3rd because all of Spurs, United and Arsenal collapsed and we ended up finishing 3rd by default.?

Still available on catch up if anyone is interested.

21st August 2019 at 3:30 pm #46076ED…I think more to the point is that teams have emerged from the mist and Utd have not moved when everyone thought they would. I hope more teams arrive, would love to see Everton, Wolves and Leicester makeing a serious challenge If one of these teams won the league, I really would not mind, it would show more competition is arriving. In my heart though I still want City to win…it may or may not happen but Liverpool will not be the only contenders this season, I think
