Exciting game they’re almost guaranteed to be exciting games with Liverpool.

23rd September 2017 at 9:59 pm #5480It’s just too stressful watching my team at the moment. I know Spurs nearly threw it away today, but it just seems as though the rest of the top 6 don’t put their fans through the ringer like my team.
That game sums up Mignolet today…some great saves, a penalty save, a comical foul to give away the penalty, a dwelling on the ball too long giving Vardy a sniff early on, so after all those pros and cons he ends up with a 7 out of 10. Just mad!

23rd September 2017 at 11:00 pm #5482Hightown, just watched the MOTD highlights. I felt they spun their punditry on the Vardy foul. Sure there was a slight clutz in Migs, but it didn’t warrant a yellow and probably was a soft pen.
Mignolet other than that genuinely was ‘the’ one that made the kept us in the game. Just put my thoughts on the LFC page.
We controlled possession and Leicester hardly created anything albeit Mark Albrighton. Mahrez was non existent and Vardy barely troubled Matip, albeit one stint in the first half and the header which looks flattering on tv than it actually was.

23rd September 2017 at 11:21 pm #5484City and Chelsea looking very good with their wins today and not forgetting United who are a totally different breed to last season and Lukaku is probably the hottest Striker in the PL at the moment just ahead of Morata and Kane IMO.

24th September 2017 at 12:51 am #5489Routine win for City once they started playing. Thought Palace played ok first half but went to pieces 2nd half. Sakho had a poor game for me. Great goal by Sane today. Based on stats Aguero is right up there. 6 goals and 3 asists so far in PL this season. Sterling has five goals.

24th September 2017 at 5:39 pm #5507I want Brighton too. I don’t really like Newcastle like I used to or Rafa – hope they lose.

24th September 2017 at 7:54 pm #5513Two beautiful takes for his first two goals from Morata yesterday has bought comparison to the early Torres at Liverpool.
I don’t think we will see the best of Morata until Hazard is back to starting for Chelsea which I have a feeling might cause Conte to change the formation to 3/5/1/1

24th September 2017 at 8:33 pm #5514Top class and a beautiful player to watch 999. Forget Costa my friend and hold on to this individual. He is an asset to the Premier League and I wish Liverpool could have somebody like him.

24th September 2017 at 9:19 pm #5516nb, cheers buddie, early days yet but Morata is looking very promising and will only get better as his understanding with his team mates develops and once Hazard is starting with him regularly.

25th September 2017 at 9:28 am #5523Anybody else somewhat impressed with Brighton’s performance yesterday? It might have only been Castle, but it was a Rafa-prepped Castle and with a bit of decent finishing Brighton could have been a lot further in front than they were. The “Gross” lad and “Knockheart” look a couple of pretty decent players to me, if Brighton do go back down (and I don’t think they will!), I can see them quite easily getting deals at decent mid-table clubs in the Prem.

25th September 2017 at 12:47 pm #5526Very impressed so far with Brighton and Huddersfield – breath of fresh air to have new teams added to the fold of the top flight and with Huddersfield being from a different geographical area than we are used to ala North and South.

25th September 2017 at 1:29 pm #5529I think the good people of Huddersfield would call themselves Yorkshiremen first and Northerner’s second but their definitely in the North.?
I’ve not seen too much of Huddersfield this season I saw them in the flesh at Ashton Gate and they weren’t great and got well beaten but there’s been a few changes since then.
Wagner is clearly doing a good job and 9 points is a decent start.
Much bigger test for them on Saturday v Spurs though, Huddersfield probably need another 30 points to survive still a tough task for them I’m sure they would take fourth from bottom right now.

25th September 2017 at 8:29 pm #5543Booby Madely having a mare reffing Arsenal vs West Brom. For me he is just not good enough to ref top games. Or any games for that matter. Awful referee.
