Not really sure where Utd go from here though with Pogba. Do you:
1. Sell him this summer. This is almost impossible as nobody can afford him. Juventus are the most likely destination with Pirlo a big fan but they can’t afford his wages.
2. Keep him on his current contract. Would leave us next summer with him only having 12 months left meaning we’d get hardly anything for him.
3. Give him a new contract. Only worth doing if we’re going to play to his strengths as his wages will be sky high.
Really not sure what the best thing to do is. I’d potentially look at getting rid this summer but look to bring the cost down for a potential suitor by trying to get someone we need in return. For example, go to Pirlo and say we want De Ligt and Douglas Costa. Both would massively improve Utd and I do think there’s a top player there in De Ligt despite a mixed first season.

20th September 2020 at 11:01 am #166429How much fitness can the really have lost in what 3 weeks? Wonder if city will look as tired? Think itβs a bit of an excuse for united myself. Things just donβt look great there at the moment, vdb looks good but if your front 3 donβt click then United donβt click, janes is not good enough, neither is rashford any more looks lost and a shadow of the lad that burst on the scene, martial has yet to prove his consistency, but like laca for us, Greenwood is good but young
Pogba not interested and Bruno looks actually fuccked but he has played every game and carried the teamDefinitely need transfers

20th September 2020 at 11:28 am #166433There is a class player in Pogba…… but I don’t think he particularly suits the PL , when he was in Italy he had time on the ball to hurt the opposition, he doesn’t get that time over here. He looks frustrated in games and for a big lad he goes down too often, if you lose the ball or go down you have got to get up and get it back, something I don’t see in him. I get frustrated watching him fuck knows what it’s like to be a United supporter watching him.
In VDB ,Pogba and Bruno F United have got a potent attacking MF add Rashford, Martial and Greenwood and that’s an exciting front 6 , the problem to me is who’s helping the back 4 out??_____________________________

20th September 2020 at 11:31 am #166434Steve….the lay-off cannot be used as an excuse. Allsquads are big enough to do a rotation policy as well, OK, some may not be as strong as others but if it is a “tiredness” factor then I would have thought the training routine needs to be changed, after all I assume they all sleep well enough!!!

20th September 2020 at 11:40 am #166435Shiney…I would agree with you about Pogba, he is a good player but not in the EPL except for odd games and that is not enough. Fernades is a better player in my opinion but he will find it more difficult this season, teams will pick him up better but he is Utds best player.Utd need stability at the back to progress. I do like Rashford but again something missing from him at the moment, if he is going to get that potency back he needs to start picking up. martial like Pogba will eventually go….well that is my opinion, probably wrong but just viewed out of interest

20th September 2020 at 1:02 pm #166439Ed very good point about how easy it is to press Pogba. Itβs far to easy. Palace did it a few times in the 1st few minutes yday.
Shiney, Brian…. yep agree chums. Pogba is a very good player but itβs not happening for him at Utd. He would kiss me off though as there is an absolute world class player in him but he looks like he doesnβt care half of the time

20th September 2020 at 3:35 pm #166446Thiago on the bench. No Gomez or Matip and fabhino at centre back which would be a major concern

Nil fabhino
Concerns me as heβs not used to playing cb and heβs not used to playing a high lineThe pace Chelsea have to get in behind us a huge concern
They are missing a few players but itβs shows how good their squad is when they can field a team like that and such a strong bench
