And everybody overlooks the “men” behind this and goes along with the “sportswashing” campaign… it’s another nail in the coffin of the game.

7th October 2021 at 2:57 pm #186239It just means price inflation. More demand less supply. Hence very deep pockets needed.

7th October 2021 at 3:03 pm #186240“According to Football London, both Antonio Conte and Frank Lampard are linked to becoming the next manager of Newcastle as they are on the brink of a big-money takeover and Steve Bruce expected to be sacked.
Lampard has yet to take on another role since being sacked as Chelsea manager last January even though he has been rumoured to be interested and approached by clubs and other jobs.
Could this be the one? We’ll soon find out.”
Love Frank but if I were Newcastle I would go for Conte I think the size of the project and the potential would attract him?

7th October 2021 at 3:40 pm #186243I think it’s great not only for Newcastle but the league as well it adds more prospective competition especially for the top 4. It’s going to a collosal fascinating new giant project.

7th October 2021 at 6:41 pm #186245All done and dusted then, Just focussing on the football issues I’m pleased for the Newcastle fans they’ve suffered more than most over the years and it’s going to make the PL even more interesting.
I suspect the first item on the agenda of the new owners will be to get the best possible Manager on board to take the Club forward.

7th October 2021 at 7:49 pm #186247RIP Football… yet again it’s proved it has no morals to speak of while managing to strangle itself on its rope of competitive spirit, flushing the very principle of the game down the toilet.
Not sure how it’s going to make it more “interesting”, more predictable perhaps, maybe even enjoyable if you happen to be a Newcastle fan… but interesting certainly isn’t a word I’d be using.

7th October 2021 at 10:50 pm #186254The top 4 need more competition and the Newcastle fans which also has a huge base deserves to see their team winning or competing at the very top level. Plus it will have an economic injection for Newcastle town. It’s great news.

8th October 2021 at 6:36 am #186255I’m very happy for Newcastle not quite in my top 5 clubs but definitely in my top 10. The more top class competition the better, it’s what makes the world go around. Just don’t expect too much for the first year or two.

8th October 2021 at 7:50 am #186262Don’t worry, cyber chums, I shall maintain a morally correct stance when it comes to the Bone Saw Boyz, you lot can continue to brush it all under the rug and be sheep when the “sports washing PR” campaign is in full flow.
