Crap…another breakaway!
Well done Wolves. Yet again poor ref for both sides.
Well do you have one hand on the trophy?_____________________________

6th October 2019 at 3:57 pm #49541Blooming need this type of favour LAST SEASON lol π
Still a very long way to go, but if Crystal Palace can get a result a week on Saturday, that would be truly cushty for us going into the Man Untied game.

6th October 2019 at 4:04 pm #49545Dunno if this is accurate, but Man City at the moment 4/5 where as Liverpool have moved to 11/10.
Plenty of twists and turns.
Liverpool have to take the learning and experience from last season and be wise.

6th October 2019 at 4:15 pm #49549Didnβt see that coming. Odd season for City so far. I think after the two incredible seasons City have had, itβs extremely hard to maintain that level of motivation. I did expect City to tail off a bit from last season, but I didnβt expect them to this early. Obviously not over, but Liverpool have to be ruthless now.

6th October 2019 at 4:20 pm #49550Mav, that’s the thing though mate, Karma.
And plus people putting doubts in your mind or raining on your parade.
We don’t have a good record too at your own end. Plus, we’re not always switched-on after international breaks.
There’s some serious opportunity now to excel so we can only balls it up from here.

6th October 2019 at 4:20 pm #49551Great win for Chelsea. They look the best side out of arsenal, utd and spurs at the minute
Southampton manager never takes any risks when his side are behind. Itβs always like for like subs.

6th October 2019 at 4:31 pm #49552AnonymousI knew Sean would be a becon of sanity. I will just back up his words by saying that all we’ve got so far is a buffer. We’ve earned our dip in form, in a sense.
We will have at least one and TBH, I would argue that we’re not firing on all cylinders but weve scraped a few wins.
Adlab, I understand that you’re upset at losing but please man, no “one hand on the trophy” talk. These discussions are just ground-work towards a “you bottled iy” situation, when we do hit our inevitable bump onnthe road to 38 games.
Its a long road and like last season, the initiative will change hands.

6th October 2019 at 4:54 pm #49555Our blushes were saved yesterday, but it proves, even Van Dijk isn’t Mortal.
I’m actually surprised as Adrian in place of Allison has really stepped up. Allison was huge for us given Mignolet and Karius.
The Spotlight will not only be the 2 early defeats, but the opposition Man City have lost to so far in Norwich and Wolves. Those fixtures looked a GIVEN when printed out last June.
But as proven, you need your key players. Opposition will notice this and tailor their tactics to exploit those areas under strength.

6th October 2019 at 4:55 pm #49556Mak, we’re a lot more composed now and don’t necessary head for the panic button or go all over the shop when a goal down or needing to find the Winner.

6th October 2019 at 4:58 pm #49557There is no point in stating what Liverpool or any team can or cannot do, it is what we do that matters. To day, we tried and failed, as simple as that. Wolves got the tactics right and we did not. No good blaming the defenders to day although more than a few mistakes the wingers Sterling and Mahrez did not do enough
Augerro fought a lone battle. Why , on WHY did we keep putting crosses into him and Silva against the very tall Wolves defenders I will never understand. We did not win any of the crosses. I am not too disappointed at least they tried but it is about time we brought in Foden and Garcia to share the workload . Well done Wolves, it was an entertaining game but just not in the same City manner. Move on, just get better_____________________________

6th October 2019 at 5:03 pm #49560AnonymousMav, Utd always find another 2 gears against us. I definitely fear that fixture.
Nil, no problem enjoying the moment lad. It was a bit of a shock to me to see this result but I remember making a bit of banyer with Adlab about how it was in the bag for City, cause of him saying our game against leicester was… but of karma for you Adlab! Hahah

6th October 2019 at 5:23 pm #49561Watching Utd v Newcastle.
Even if Utd go up three gears they are just not good enough at the moment.
Bad miss by Maguire near HT.Mind you I would take a proper CB at the moment. Otemendi was awful and Fernandinho isnt one. If you can get evens for Liverpool that would be a good bet at the moment.
Mak when did I say it was in the bag for City…? For Liverpool maybe!
Too much of a pessimist to say that about City!_____________________________
