Most sane fans don’t want Chelsea to go out of business. It will never happen but get over everyone is againest us mentality mate because it’s rubbish .

Again there is nowhere I have shown support or said Roman shouldn’t be sanctioned. my case was for my beloved Chelsea. and as a fan, I have every right to express my frustration. so it will be good if we stop misleading posts.

Fair enough but it was a clear pen for Newcastle as nine a very honest Chelsea fan has said. No one is againest Chelsea.

Chelsea will still go on. They will be bought soon or something will happen. I wouldn’t worry to much

Chaps. This is a real problem. On the one hand we love our football and our clubs but on a much higher level the atrocities in the Ukraine perpetrated by Russia.
It is clear to me that we are, quite understandably, reluctant to use NATO armed forces and therefore putting pressure on Putin and Russia via sanctions is the approach. Sanctions have to , amongst other things, attack Putin acolytes. Abramovich clearly has had strong relations with Putin and therefore has to be the subject of sanctions.
I believe that Chelsea will be successfully sold in the near future. Whether there will be the current level of support remains to be seen.

Sean.I’m sure you’re right and ultimately the Club will be sold but it will take at least 6 weeks before a new owner can take control and the Government sanctions against Roman have hit the Club very hard. Culminating in no revenue streams flowing into the Club and a large wages bill to pay on April 1st and May 1st.

The Club wasn’t even allowed to sell programmes on Sunday. No new ticket sales are allowed resulting in only Season ticket holders being able to attend PL games and no fans are allowed to attend the Qtr Finals of the CL should Chelsea progress, together with no sales of any Chelsea merchandise by the Club.

All of the above to stop Roman taking any money out of the Club but historically Roman has never taken a penny out of the Club in fact the reverse and it would have been very easy to isolate Roman from future revenue streams by setting up a completely new bank account which he could not access.
