Well, they’ve managed well without Zouma so far and enhancing their current occupance of 4th place.

13th February 2022 at 5:53 pm #194240We play Spurs next Saturday.
Exactly Adlab. Let’s face it. That’s going to be 4 straight defeats, 2 of which at home to sides they should be beating in Wolves and Southampton.

13th February 2022 at 5:56 pm #194241At this rate Rodgers might be available?
Don’t even joke about him as an option for us Adlab. I’d even rather Poch than Rodgers and that’s saying something. π

13th February 2022 at 6:02 pm #194242It is interesting how coaching nice pretty football regardless of whether you win much seems to make you bulletproof with the British media. Think Martinez, Rodgers, Pochettino, Bielsa, Howe, Hasenhuttl, Potter. Even Farke lasted quite a while at Norwich even though they yo-yoed up and down the divisions. I think clubs like the identity and stability they give. On one hand I can understand that from an owner perspective, but on the other, they do seem immune to legitimate criticism. And for the record Klopp and Guardiola have flaws. But rarely are they talked about.
But if you’re a bit more defensive/pragmatic as a manager, the media take you to the cleaners.

13th February 2022 at 7:32 pm #194249According to the recent hand ball laws:
βThe new handball rule states that the shoulder goes to the end of the shirt sleeve or the bottom of the armpit (though obviously not in the case of a long-sleeve jersey).β

13th February 2022 at 9:47 pm #194256I don’t have any qualms about it being a handball, the new rule is clear. What I do have a problem with is Antonio’s clear wrestling of Vestergaard. He never once faces the ball and show intent to play it, he burrows his head into his belly all with the sole attempt to stop Vestergaard from making a play at the ball.
Either way, we are shocking on set pieces_____________________________

14th February 2022 at 5:02 am #194257I don’t even know anymore what is a handball and what is not, do even the officials really know?

No need for a Pep team talk. Just pin this up.

15th February 2022 at 3:26 pm #194262I wouldn’t bother pinning it up in the dressing room, perhaps better in Pep’s office. He’s more the reason rather than the players for their failure in the CL so far at City, imo.

15th February 2022 at 5:21 pm #194263I still fancy City for both the PL and the CL this season.

15th February 2022 at 6:13 pm #194264Mikus. I agree. We picked the wrong line up 8n the CL final with no defensive midfielder.
