Can Mr Ralf Rangnick get his Red of Manchester to pull off a surprise at this Ethiad this coming Sunday or will their Neighbours polish them off with a Blitz?
Leicester v Leeds to kick us off this Saturday Lunchtime, 12:30, followed by a good round up 3pm games and then Liverpool versus West Ham which won’t be an easy game at all but a chance for the Reds to close the gap at the top back to 3 points.
Arsenal have a good opportunity out of this to win at Watford and push for the 4th Champions League place. They have games in hand over their competitors above.
Points to Play for both Top and Bottom π

5th March 2022 at 8:18 am #194682Always felt confident in this fixture under Ole. At least until the game at OT this season, he seemed to always know how to cause City problems. Pep has beat us once at the Etihad in 6 games since he arrived. Unfortunately, I think playing with Ronaldo plays into City’s hands as we don’t have that pace on the break to scare them. I don’t think we’ll get hammered but City will just edge it by a goal or 2 I think.

5th March 2022 at 12:33 pm #194683Bad news for us. No Diaz for 6 weeks and Ake also injured. Which is good news for rivals.

5th March 2022 at 1:01 pm #194684Dias is forecasted to return on the 10th which is when Man City host Liverpool.
Meanwhile Edison Cavani has been back in training and is good enough to be selected for tomorrow which I think would boost United if paired with Ronaldo upfront.

5th March 2022 at 1:10 pm #194685Stop using ‘Diaz’ Adlab. Your player is ‘Dias’. You keep worrying me everytime you say ‘Diaz is out for 6 weeks.’ π

5th March 2022 at 1:15 pm #194686Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this…
So if Liverpool make it to the CL quarters and the FA Cup semis, drawing City in both… our April could be:
5/6 April – Man City – CL
10 April – Man City – PL
12/13 April – Man City – CL
16/17 April – Man City – FA Cup
19/20 April – Man United – PL
23/24 April – Everton – PL— Ryan (@ryan3levis) March 4, 2022

5th March 2022 at 1:58 pm #194687Stones and Laporte who I believe are both fit is still a strong Centre Back pairing. Rumour that United might leave Maguire out?

5th March 2022 at 5:10 pm #194698Indeed. An easy win for Chelsea. Bit concerned about tomorrow without DiaS.
Have to go out so I will miss the game. Stop me getting too nervous!_____________________________

5th March 2022 at 7:41 pm #1947013 Points hugged.
We were made to really work and needed Alisson, Konate and Keita to bring their A game which they did and full credit to them.
West Ham were Danger on the counter but our guys collectively didn’t take their threat for granted and essentially tracked back and defended when it mattered. This makes it more rewarding.

5th March 2022 at 7:52 pm #194702Mikus, I think in general the Hammers made it difficult for us with their blocks mainly in the central area. We had to stretch them to find the gaps.
Salah unlucky not to find the net really early in the game. And yeah, after that it wasn’t happening but did well tracking back every time he lost the ball.
Sometimes, they need to be spontaneous in their attack play to catch the opposition off guard.
3 Massive Points above all.
