Nine, it’s his whole swagger mate. Although harsh, both the handball and the offside as footage proved to be the correct calls, but what I did see for example is the yellow cards he dished out to Spurs players and not Man City when they fouled players – maybe open to debate whether they warranted yellows, but it’s just his swagger.

Don’t know what Levy’s plans are but Spurs do need at least 3 maybe 4 top quality players, think they ok upfront maybe a backup striker for Kane but a midfield general and a defensive leader at the back are a must, also a keeper that makes less errors despite his occasional good saves. Think he cost them a good couple of games.

Yeh Sean, I thought the same watching MOTD last night. Both City and Liverpool commit so many going forwards that they leave huge gaps at the back.
I still think it’s City’s to lose, and it could well be another basketball game at the Etihad when both meet up.

Nil. Taylor is not my favourite Referee by long way but to be fair to Taylor he didn’t give the penalty VAR did and it was a nailed on pen.
Great result for Liverpool though it might well come down to the game at the Etihad now.

Rover I had those 2 playing positions in my mind as well for Spurs. Maybe a wide-man. They should have gone for Traore from Wolves. I’m sure Conte has a clear plan on what to buy but he needs to be properly backed by Levy.

Nine, it will be a challenge to sustain a sequence of wins. Personally Man City still look the stronger. Pep was right about the 11 point lead. I am delighted we’ve got a chink of light, but there’s lots of work to be done and no PL game is going to be an easy ride especially this stage of the season.

Was at the game yesterday, and Liverpool were struggling first half with both Ox & Joe Gomez struggling – and Keita canβt impose himself on a game. Iβm glad Norwich scored when there was still plenty of time left for Liverpool to wake up and play more direct football. Thiago was quality when he came on, I was relieved to see the Ox go off.
Matip gets bullied too easily – not enough intensity for me. We got away with it.
Spurs looked good value for the win, and were unlucky to have had a nail biter at the end. The decisions from VAR were all correct though.
Still Cityβs to lose. I canβt see Liverpool maintaining this form but City will.

I can beni. Diaz has given Liverpool a boost and if they didn’t already Liverpool now have the best forward line in the PL probably in Europe too and more importantly they have great options now up front.
It’s going to be close now imo but with the likely 3 points advantage, City’s more advantageous fixture list and the game between the two being at the Etihad City still retain a slight advantage.
