Why is Jamie redknspo acting like everyone is confused around the handball rule? In these situations the rules really couldn’t be clearer, if you touch the ball with arm in lead up to goal the goal is disallowed, what is contentious about that decision? Just unlucky but handball and correct decision

To be honest I don’t think he controlled the ball with his arm, it brushed off it as it hit his chest, but them’s the laws of the game and the ref looked at the monitor and had no choice but to give it. It’s not the refs fault or VAR, it’s the current handball law….Pagan

Lucky, there’s the confusion, it’s not if you touch the ball with your arm, it’s if there’s contact between the ball and the arm, it’s a yes or no decision that has been implemented so VAR can work….Pagan

Lucky, that was one of the changes, touching the ball with your arm alludes to internationally touching the ball, now it’s any contact, even if it hits you from behind, that takes any opinion out and makes it a law ideal for VAR…..Pagan
