Weekend Football – Gameweek 9

Arsenal – Aston Villa starts us off with Gameweek 9 as the Header for Friday Night Football at 8pm Televised.

The stand out game of course will be Crystal Palace v Newcastle United 😛 Excuse my attempted humour.

But yeah, the small matter up north on Sunday, just a low key affair.

Chelsea could build on their lead entertaining Norwich. It’s a given.

Evening game at the Amex on Saturday between Brighton and Man City will be a good one to watch.

That tomiyasu looks very decent. Reminds me a little of ivanovic in that he looks like he would be a good centre half and has the physical profile to do it, but is deceptively mobile and technical enough to be an outlet on the ball at right back.

Like I said the other day Arsenal are building a new young team that takes time and patience but there are encouraging signs and Arsenal appear to be going in the right direction.

Stevo, it’s a slow burn for Arsenal it’s not about today it’s about tomorrow with Arsenal young players will have good days and bad days you can’t expect too much straight away. I don’t think we’ll see the best of this new Arsenal side for a season or two and after one or two more appropriate signings, patience is required.
