15th November 2020 at 11:36 am #170257Pagan, “Whether you could voluntarily incarcerate players for that time is another discussion.”
True enough Pagan and 9 months of isolation could create all sorts of mental issues too.
What they’re doing currently with the regular testing of players is to try and identify early on who might have Coronavirus and then take them out of the squad to protect the remainder of the squad/Coaching staff fortunately so far the regular testing has only thrown up 48 cases.

15th November 2020 at 11:59 am #170261Good to hear Sean.
I was into it a few weeks ago, just spending an hour and ran around the fields where I used to play football in my teens – felt quite active. It is good too mentally. Tryna conserve my energy for work and keeping on top of domestics at home.
I know people who have had to have had their Gym Memberships frozen. This Pandemic’s been up and down, it’s crazy and unsettling.
Yeah mate, get these internationals out of the way, then we can concentrate this time next Sunday on the Leicester game.

15th November 2020 at 12:21 pm #170262He thatβs it nine mate. So much football to look forward to abd Iβve really enjoyed the games so far. Miss the fans but I have grown used to it
Golf is huge in Ireland and my office is full of golfers but itβs one of the only sports i could not get a handle on
I could never use a wood to tea off so I used to use a 5 iron . Just couldnβt grasp the game at all but itβs such a popular sport abd my mother who is 79, still plays 2/3 times a week before lockdown

15th November 2020 at 1:54 pm #170263Sean, brilliant to hear about your Mum Sean good on her, it’s a great game and very sociable. But as often said it can be a good walk ruined.π
It’s a tough game to get profecient at I started playing at 21 and never really got on top of it but I always enjoyed trying.
You can have an awful round of Golf and then one great shot or one great hole and it draws you back into the game and out you go again.
I’ve been lucky enough to play some great courses unfortunately I only got to play in Ireland once at Mount Juliet in Thomastowm which is a gorgeous course and a very very fine Hotel too.
I’m loving the Masters as is my wife because it keeps me in my Man Cave for hours.π

15th November 2020 at 1:58 pm #170264Over the weekend watched football, golf, rugby and motor racing all without crowds. Said it before….its just not the same. I accept its better than nothing but thats it.
When you see clips of past games you realise how poor without crowdsBased on todays news it looks like Pep might be staying on after this season. We’ll see. I hope so.

Well nine at least you experienced one of the most beautiful hotels in Ireland.fabulous golf course aswell. Iβve stayed there a few times. Itβs about 1hr 30. Min drive from Dublin. Fantastic terrace to sit out on looking over the
course. My nephew (16) plays off a handicap of 5 abd hopes to go the states on a scholarship. Be brilliant if it happened

15th November 2020 at 2:39 pm #170267Adlab, Iβm a bit used to it without the crowds. I found it really difficult at the start to get into it but now I love watching the games.
The day stadiums are full again is going to be a very joyous day mate

15th November 2020 at 2:56 pm #170270Reminds me a little when Pubs had to ban the congregation of Smokers. It was never quite the same feel and atmosphere. It was culture.
Attendance generates atmosphere and culture into our grounds which are some of the ‘ingredients’ to an entertaining game.
We need to get society back on it’s feet properly first.
