Interesting comments. Shows a diversion of views on subs. Difficult. Could compromise on 4 excluding a keeper. Compromise doesnt seem the current flavour for anything though.

Too many games, so it’s about how you are using a player in the present day. It’s not a disservice to ‘lesser clubs’ or any unfair advantage.
Pointless friendly. The problem I feel in the now habit is we’re accommodating a 2 week window for Internationals and those players committed are at risk.
The 5 Subs can help at the very least.

Whether the Gomez injury is serious or not with Matip being a player who struggles with injuries and VVD out for the season I would be suprised if Klopp doesn’t buy a Centre Back in January which is only just over 8 weeks away.

Sean, I hesitate to criticise Klopp over anything he’s such a great Coach but he undoubtedly made the wrong call here.
Whilst no one could have predicted this run of injuries particularly to the defensive area. It was always a risk to go with Fabinho as a 4th choice back up at Centre Back especially as Matip is injury prone.
Really feel for Gomez if it’s a broken leg hopefully it’s not as bad as is being rumoured I’m sure too that Klopp will buy a Centre Back in January and that’s only 8 weeks away if you can keep Matip fit who was excellent v City on Sunday and get Fabinho back you should be ok.
The fixture list until then is reasonably kind to Liverpool with only Leicester, Wolves and Spurs the most difficult games but they are all at home and offensively Liverpool are still very strong.

Nil, depending on the seriousness of Gomez injury I’m sure Phillips will get more games. Southgate has confirmed it’s a knee injury so it all depends on the scans hopefully it’s not an ACL injury.
With Matip, Fabinho and Phillips I think you’ll be ok and Klopp will probably react in January.

Adlab, I agree. There needs to be a sensible itinerary to suit all – not just for TV Broadcasters making money.
Wembley still in the mode in being paid off – lol I’m clueless.
Tomorrow is pointless. The National Tournaments should have been placed on hold if I’m blunt about this. We need to be able to get together properly the Domestics considering the uncertainty under COVID we are facing, daily.
