The simple truth is that most referees are happy to toe the line / pass the buck, very few take responsibility, use common sense and their own discretion.

1st November 2020 at 5:34 pm #1695129, unfortunately your right, VAR is used to rule out goals for offside that the vast majority of fans would take on the chin as theyβre far to close to call, but isnβt used to stop the things the fans wanted it to sort out. Quite how we got to this situation beggars belief, the knight in his shining armour riding in on his white horse has become one of the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse……Pagan

1st November 2020 at 6:00 pm #169515Utd so poor today. This is Utd all over under Solskajer. Brilliant one match, toothless the next. No excuses for losing to this poor Arsenal side I’m afraid

1st November 2020 at 6:23 pm #169516Agreed, ed. But United also have the squad with the lowest average age. When you have many younger players, you have to expect a team that blows hot and cold.
But it shouldn’t hide the fact that OGS is very far from being on the same level as Klopp or Ancelotti. Or that United need some real leaders in the squad.
Take the 1999 team. Basically any player could have been captain. Today we have too many players that will shit themselves because they can’t decide wether or not to go to the toilet. You can’t expect to go very far with players who can’t take responsibility.

1st November 2020 at 6:26 pm #169517Strange substitutions by Ole when you need a goal.

1st November 2020 at 6:29 pm #169518AnonymousHow much longer are they going to wait before replacing OGS? He’s CLEARLY not up to the job. Oh he’s nice, so let’s give him a new contract.
Look, fire him today and get Poch in. jesus christ.

1st November 2020 at 6:46 pm #169520Mak, we missed a trick when Ancelotti was available. I wouldn’t mind Poch though. Or Nagelsmann from Leipzig.

1st November 2020 at 6:57 pm #169521Because Solksjaer keeps going on runs & blowing hot & cold, it’s almost like he keeps resurrecting himself which somewhat relieves the pressure from the board. But then they’ll lose again – then they’ll go and beat a top team in Europe. The human mind is designed to forget – so the losses quickly get forgotten about. I also think that Solksjaer is a yes man who is keeping players like Pogba happy for the moment – when perhaps the board knows a new manager would want quite a few of them out – a bit like Mourinho did. So Solksjaer fits a purpose for the moment and it’s hard to see the board snapping itself out of the cycle they’re currently in.

1st November 2020 at 7:23 pm #169524Why do people still perceive Arse as a weak/poor team? They are improving all the time and today they won easy.

1st November 2020 at 7:30 pm #169525AnonymousThat was absolutely dreadful from Lallana, come on man you’re better than that. So disappointing. He’s let his team down there, I hope he makes up for it.

1st November 2020 at 7:41 pm #169527AnonymousVAR looked at that and didnt get a penalty? WTF. They don’t seem to give a toss about players being grappled. Anyone else noticing that?
That was definitely a penalty. He’s running right onto the ball too, I mean you’re nearly but not quite in straight red territory.

1st November 2020 at 7:45 pm #169529Son and Kane really mesh well together and if they can stay fit, I feel Tottenham will be the surprise package.

1st November 2020 at 7:54 pm #169531I know it’s only 7 games in, but worth studying the League Table. I wonder how this would have calculate if a certain late Jimmy Hill hadn’t introduced 3 points a win.
Lol, even 1 point is something π π
