29th September 2024 at 5:26 pm #215781Mikuis, spurs are great on the ball but terrible without it. Really enjoy wayching spurs. They always give you achance. Utd playing so bad yet had two good chances.

29th September 2024 at 5:31 pm #215782He does slip, but he then petulantly fouls Maddison.
Itβs not that high ti be fair, itβs on the shin with the back of his heel. Maddison rolls around as if he has been shot and holds his knee, which is no where near the contact.

29th September 2024 at 5:33 pm #215783Solanke, Johnson and Maddison offer a different dimension to Spurs and more of a threat with Kulusevki joining in. They’ve brought almost their best versions of themselves this afternoon so far bar not scoring more than 1 which for them hope they don’t live to regret.

29th September 2024 at 5:49 pm #215786I acknowledge that Sean, but if I was a Spurs fan itβs the poor finishing of the attacking players that would frustrate me the most. Werner very disappointing with his two one on one chances. You have to be scoring those. With a manager like Ange you need good finishers. You saw what Rodgers did at Liverpool with Suarez & Sturridge.

29th September 2024 at 6:09 pm #215789They’ll hurt other teams or will it just be United today? Wow!

29th September 2024 at 6:33 pm #215792Amazing we were chasing him all that time ago Sean and werenβt prepared to spend the money on him. A wise choice it seems in hindsight. (Unless Klopp could have changed him).

29th September 2024 at 6:38 pm #215793What can I say?
Overall I think we deserved the 3 points over the course of the 90 minutes regardless, the red card was harsh to say the least, how/why/what is Werner doing on the pitch is beyond me, and after our first 6 six games which included 3 against other “Top6” clubs, we’ve a decent run of games…
Not the worst Sunday afternoon…

29th September 2024 at 7:06 pm #215795Congrats Chucky. Just awful from us. No excuses. He has to go now. Not even bothered about the harsh red because we were every bit as shite with 11 men

29th September 2024 at 7:15 pm #215796I’m just asking myself, is ETH normal? I don’t know how Rashford started that game ahead of Amad? And how Zirkezee ahead of Hojlland? Granacho should have played on the left and Amad on the right, and they would have had a balanced team. Why didn’t he start with Casamirofor this game because of his expeirence?
Now United has to sack him because of his personal ego. He has forced the club to take a Β£50m loss on a player they could be utising him now. And looking at how he is playing since he left for Chelsea puts ETH on the spot.

29th September 2024 at 7:46 pm #215797Ah ed can they sack without really giving the players he signed in the summer time to settle?

29th September 2024 at 7:55 pm #215798Very similar parallels to Rodgers last season at Liverpool. Coaches changed, new players signed, but sacked on 4th October.

29th September 2024 at 8:38 pm #215799There were two things said this week that summed up how bad the club is. No manager and no elite player can come in and fix this at present until the toxic players are gone.
Eriksen said that Twente wanted it more, and Ole mentioned that some United players felt less important when Ronaldo arrived. Iβm sorry, but what have these players accomplished in football to think they have the right to feel important at the club?
People are rightfully saying Ten Hag has spent a fortune and that the lineup is his. But there are still a bunch of players stinking up the place.
I’ve always said Sancho is a disgrace. Heβs trying at Chelsea, yet when I saw him live under Ole, Rangnick, and Ten Hag, he was jogging and putting in next to no effort. Why would I, or anyone who cares about the club, want someone like him around? That attitude has clearly rubbed off on Rashford, just look at his reaction after losing the ball before Spurs scored. They are a disgrace.

29th September 2024 at 8:53 pm #215800Getting all nostalgic with the juices flowing in hahaha, but when I look back 30 years; before the point of time where I was heartbroken ala the FA Cup Final 1996, I really enjoyed watching players like Lee Sharpe, Andre Kanchelskis, Eric Cantona, and Ryan Giggs too. This was pre-Beckham and before he made it all about him. Dennis Irwin on the left, Steve Bruce, Gary Pallister; good reliable back line; Roy Keane Midfield! A Young Paul Scholes coming through circa 1995 π
Few Pints and Pies of the Culture before Wenger of Arsenal came in and brought in ‘Nutrition’gate, (to re-define the culture!) but these individuals had brass, and something about them.
I still don’t think this comes close to one of the two of Liverpool’s lowest of low spells, 1999 and 2010, but all quarters are Elephants in the room I really don’t like to say though it sadly for the Manchester United fans as it stands, the harsh reality.

I’d agree with you Sean if we were getting these results and it was his first season but he’s 3 seasons in. It’s totally unacceptable. The players aren’t blameless but I think they’ve just lost confidence in his ideas. It doesn’t take much of a drop off in desire and motivation with the type of football we play for it to be disastrous.
Give it Ruud until the end of the season and spend the rest of the season just planning the next appointment. Nagelsmann would be my ideal choice.
