Tbh Arsenal have had a relatively easy run of opponents since they were bottom. But OK we want the top clubs to perform adds to the excitement and drama.

27th September 2021 at 8:44 am #185810So, we have Villains (H), Brown Ale Boys (A), Spammers (A) & YooUtd (H) in our next 4 games… you want to think a minumum of 9 points, while hoping for 6… anything less than 6 and I think Nuno is on borrowed time…

27th September 2021 at 10:08 am #185815Maybe I’m wrong but I get the feeling that Harry Kane still wishes he was elsewhere. He looks to me he is operating at 90% and that is not enough. Will Levy regret his stance? Time will tell!

27th September 2021 at 10:50 am #185818Harry lost his mind yesterday at rumours nuno could get sack, he doesnt think its fair that someone who has given nothing to spurs could be rewarded with a move away so quickly 😀

27th September 2021 at 1:26 pm #185828Brighton could go top tonight. It does feel like the craziness of last season’s results aren’t quite out the system yet and many games are still unpredictable.

27th September 2021 at 1:33 pm #185831I think you’re probably right about Kane Adlab.
Kane seems to have left Spurs mentally without actually physically leaving Spurs whether he can get his head right and get back on track is currently open to conjecture and his seeming unhappiness seems to be rubbing off on some of the other players.
There are big question marks currently against Nuno too who never fitted the profile of the kind of Manager Spurs fans would take too in respect of his style of football.
Levy seems to be the problem at Spurs even the majority of Spurs fans seem to think that and until that problem is solved it remains a problem for Spurs to move forwards and in the right direction.

27th September 2021 at 6:16 pm #185845A lot of the Spurs old lads I’ve know for 50+ years no longer go to home games, these are die hard supporters who have had a gut full of Enic, Levy and Lewis, until they go this is as good as it gets.

28th September 2021 at 1:38 pm #185852Shiney, real shame when that happens.
As you’ve rightly illustrated the Club’s problems go deeper than just Levy but he is the face of Enic and has messed up badly again this Summer with the Kane situation and the appointment of a new Manager which with all the false dawns made Spurs look foolish before ultimately appoining Nuno who looked like the wrong appointment then and even more so now.
Interesting article in the Standard today:
“The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust [THST] has requested a meeting with chairman Daniel Levy to explain his strategy amid worries over the club’s decline.
THST say fans are “extremely concerned” about the direction of the club and they want Levy to explain “plans for this season and beyond, how success will be measured and how the club’s DNA will be regained”.
Levy has come in for criticism from fans and THST want him and the board to set out their plans to supporters.
In a statement this morning, THST said: “Over the past few weeks we’ve been contacted by an increasing number of Trust members and the wider fan base who are extremely concerned about the current direction of THFC.”
“Part of our role as a Trust is to ensure the club’s board are fully aware of supporter sentiment. So we have asked for a meeting with the club’s executive board to discuss both the short and long-term strategic vision for the football club.
“The club’s board will be aware of the questions currently being asked by the Trust, by fans and by the media. This meeting, therefore, is an opportunity for the decision makers at THFC to explain their plans to supporters.
“This explanation should include plans for this season and beyond, an explanation of how success will be measured and how the club’s DNA will be regained.
“We await their response, and will update on our website as soon as there is any news.”
Of course despite the best efforts of the Spurs fans the worry is that under the current ownership structure very little will change. Cheers 9’s
