Love you to be right Sean but I started out the season hoping for at least a top 3 finish this season for Chelsea and that’s where I currently see it.
As you rightly say Liverpool bar Chelsea have had a kind run of fixtures to date but you can only beat who is put in front of you dropping points at Brentford was disappointing and I wonder whether too many of the other title challengers will drop points there.
If Liverpool can keep pretty much everyone fit I think they’ve got chances for the title but if not the squad looks a bit thin in certain areas to me. I thought City looked ominous yesterday I still think their Achilles heel is having no striker to replace Aguero but they have quality all over the pitch.
The Ole factor may well trip United up. All very interesting.

26th September 2021 at 3:30 pm #185749Nine, for City to maintain that level of performance it will take a serious about of training/energy. It was level they had in previous seasons but has been missing so far this season until yesterday. It is a big ask for City to get at least one trophy this season because I think this season is so unpredictable therefore as is my view on all things football…be pragmatic. take the rewards or heartache as they come, not before, then you can keep your sanity

26th September 2021 at 4:34 pm #185753First of all, hah bloody hah to whoever it was who lost the DMD yesterday… 🙂
A bag of Monster Munch on its way to Brenford, and a family bag of Mars Bars to the Villains…
As for the big one, our record is bloody awful at the libary, both old and new, so I’m not hoping for much, even if that probably is our best 11… for me, it all depends if Harry has got any fizz in his beans…if he can’t get it up for this, he never will…

26th September 2021 at 4:58 pm #185760You shouldn’t worry Buffy, in 450 minutes of Prem footy, my boys have managed preciously 1 goal from open play this season…
Going for 4-1 to the goonies (with a Kane Peno in the 88th minute….)
Oh, look, halfway there already, and 63 minutes to go…

26th September 2021 at 4:58 pm #185761It’s as if for a split second, the whole game paused while waiting for an Arsenal player to come and slot the ball home.
And here we go
Goal Number 2
Call a Taxi please for Nuno!!!

26th September 2021 at 5:10 pm #185769I called it
3 x 3-0 losses
We couldn’t do that to the spuds so we best score a few more 😁_____________________________

26th September 2021 at 5:10 pm #185770Was it more that Spurs were poor last week than Chelsea were great? Three previous league games including this one (so far): 0-3, 0-3, 0-3.

26th September 2021 at 5:21 pm #185772Completely different game last week Mikus. Spurs played well in the first half but Chelsea turned it around completely in the second half and it could have been a lot more than 3 nil at the end.
Three 3 nils on the trot though must be worrying for Spurs fans.

26th September 2021 at 5:25 pm #185773They were still good Nine, don’t get me wrong. But Spurs clearly having a mare at the moment which isn’t helping them. How must Kane be feeling?

26th September 2021 at 5:25 pm #185775AnonymousJust saw the Villa goal against Utd. I also don’t think it should have stood. He’s really backing into the keeper and is definitely active.
I won’t lie, when I heard about Ole crying about it after the game, I thought I’d watch it and think nothing of it but how is a player not active when limiting the keepers ability to do his job, so much?
