Credit to Brentford but really shameful from our defence. They threw the match, pretty much. Chelsea lost today but that was to the defending Champions. We’ve dropped 2 points that neither team are likely to leave behind.

I think a combination of a high line and Brentford throwing a few bodies up top meant we really struggled. But can’t see Klopp changing it, it’s how he plays it.

Ah credit were credit is due. FairPlay to Brentford. Chelsea only side who havenโt dropped points to a team they should be beating. We have been poor at the back. Got away with at palace but not today. No problem with the result.

Mikus, I was wondering who we could put on for Jones, myself. So when I saw the change, having already subbed Jota for Firmino in my head, it made sense to me and I was ok with it.

Love Brentford they were the Club that I was allowed to go on the bus to watch as a nipper before I was allowed to go to Chelsea which was a train journey and a bus ride.
Brentford will always have a place in my heart I feared they might struggle in the PL but they’ve started really well.

Above all a fair result and a glass half full in context. Brentford for all their Heart and Fearless approach have been a breath of fresh air to the Top Flight.
Long may it continue and they stay in the Division. We are Top and in Context Positive, so need to see highlights etc before commenting further. No easy ride and foregone conclusion in this League.

That’s the thing about football Adlab. Week in and out, we love to react. There’s nothing wrong with it in my view, as leagues are won game by game. We’re all on this journey as it unfolds and there are so many twists in the tale along the way.
Last week it was City, this week it’ll be Utd and maybe next week, it’ll be Liverpool, if we lose to both Porto and City. There is something nice in your team getting the credit you feel it deserves but also, when it puts the reactionary opinion stuff to bed.
The difference with City and Utd is I think Ole is in over his head and will be replaced soon. City would be insane to replace Pep, absolutely zero chance of that happening.

Mak, that was atrocious from us at the back yday but as we have said Brentford deserve huge credit.
The problem is we have looked shakey at the back in a good few games. We have conceded loads of clear cut chances. Utd are the same but city and Chelsea are very solid.
Just glad we didnโt lose but if want to challenge you win these games and thatโs why we wonโt.
You be very concerned about city coning to anfield next week

A touch of reality Sean. When push comes to shove I don’t think either Liverpool or Chelsea will be genuine title challengers I doubt United either. Now who does that leave?๐

I think Chelsea can challenge city nine. Very tough fixture list yet level on points with them. Liverpool havenโt played really anyone except Chelsea. We will see what Liverpool are made of next week
You can only beat who is put in front of you and we have played some good stuff but we donโt look solid at the back like Chelsea and city. Iโm back enjoying watching us play after last season which is great
Sometimes you just have the five the opposing team credit. City were on another level yesterday. Outstanding performance and Brentford got their tactics spot on and were very brave
