Adlab, you’re obsessed with Utd’s finances! Of course Utd will be struggling. There’s a global pandemic and we usually have 60k people through the turnstiles every other week. Not all clubs are as fortunate as City to have bottomless pits of cash.
As for penalties, City have received more pens than Utd over the last 5 seasons so I’m not sure what you’re getting at there. Last season was just a freak season for Utd in terms of penalties. City weren’t far behind Utd either last season in second most penalties awarded.
Nine, I do feel sorry for Ole too. Woodward and the board are a shambles but that doesn’t detract from the fact that Ole is just not a very good manager. It’s not one or the other for me. They’re both incompetent.

The reason I mention Utd finances is probably down to how FFP was applied to City.
They all talk about record transfers to Utd, the richest club but only the likes of Martin Samuel questions that clubs can increase debt but owners cant increase their equity investment.

Adlab, I’m not sure it’s United’s lack of funds mate if it were they wouldn’t have chased Sancho offering what they did and bought DVDB but their transfer strategy just seems all over the place.

Sounds like they’re staying in the England squad, too, which just shows how spineless Southgate is. He knew removing (and still not re-selecting) Greenwood and Foden, two fringe players, would have little effect on his plans but make him out to be a no-nonsense manager who wouldn’t accept that behaviour.
Just shows now that they only were removed for the public display rather than any actual disciplinary reasons.

BTW I just saw Utds red card. If anything it should have been a red the other way, wtf was that about? He elbowed him in the throat to get a reaction, then when he’s tapped on the neck back with the guys open fingers, he goes down and that red stands? what a load of nonsense. That ref should be disciplined for that shit. Did VAR not see that he was conned?

Steveo, I felt sorry for Martial, they both deserved the same punishment, if Lamela had got a red I would have applauded the ref, use the feckin monitor !!! I’m well chuffed with this window, I can’t remember Levy buying a player that the manager actually wanted before, if we can get Bale and Lo Celso back to full fitness I’ll be a very happy old git !!
