4th October 2020 at 5:12 am #167985Total domination today. We did as we liked. Palace offered nothing and our defence was the most solid I have seen for quite some time. Surely Saha gets docked his pay for not turning up. He was total crap. Canβt believe that Palace beat up United only a few weeks back.

4th October 2020 at 9:33 am #167986I’ve found it! A conspiracy against Liverpool…
When this new seasonβs fixtures were announced in August, our collective sigh was that of a club and set of supporters now used to being burdened with difficult batches of opening games. We always get Arsenal early doors. We always get Chelsea away. Itβs hard to remember when we last had a set of first 10 games that didnβt feature a disproportionate amount of contests against top-six rivals.
Let us add to the sense of being hard done by, the fact that this term, we also seem to be being forced to play sides at precisely the wrong time β a vibrant in form Leeds team flush with the confidence of winning the Championship. Chelsea on the back of a first day win, Arsenal flying and now an Aston Villa side boasting a still intact 100 per cent record.
Liverpool have yet to face a team who have dropped any points. And by the way, after the international break our next opponents are Everton, who thus far are also word perfect with three wins from three league games.
…courtesy of The Anfield Wrap!
Joking aside though, it is amazing that our first 5 games will all be against teams that haven’t yet dropped a point

4th October 2020 at 10:11 am #167987We also seem to be playing Everton away after ‘every break’ of some sort π Add that to another conspiracy theory, ha.

4th October 2020 at 12:35 pm #167990Good Gracious: 2-0 now to West Ham! At the King Power too!
If they pull this one off, this again highlights how competitive and tough this league is. Teams being able to take points off each other.

4th October 2020 at 1:11 pm #167991Really enjoyed the Leeds v City game last night almost a throwback played in atrocious weather neither team deserved to lose and Leeds will give plenty of teams problems this season both home and away.
Shame about no fans a full Elland Road will be very intimidating.
The weather is so awful today I’ve settled down in my man cave for a day and a night of football United v Spurs promises to be a good one hopefully it doesn’t disappoint followed by Vila v Liverpool
And tomorrow it’s the last day of the transfer window too.π Cheers All 9’s

4th October 2020 at 1:56 pm #167994Full Credit to West Ham for a comprehensive win at Leicester considering according to the stats, in hold of just 30% of possession. And with that amount, they managed 6 shots on Target.
I don’t know why fans are quick to jump to conclusions and even think Leicester can be Title challengers. Maybe they can. There’s no easy ride though as we’ve seen.

4th October 2020 at 1:56 pm #167995Nine..hope you are well.. Agree, neither team deserved to loose. Utd v Spurs…must be penalties in that game. Leicester…well after the Lord Mayors show against us a big bump down to earth.
