7th May 2022 at 10:06 pm #195891Very surprised at that. How bitter does Klopp sound after the game moaning about timewasting etc? Him and Pep are absolutely great with the media when winning but pretty poor when they don’t. Serial winners almost always have that streak in them. Ferguson and Mourinho had it in abundance.

7th May 2022 at 10:10 pm #195892We can’t control fate in terms of whatever Manchester City do now. The goal difference reduced I’m disappointed with. There’s something void at times in our league games that spells ‘we’re not been blowing teams away’.
Salah has dipped form and goals. Jota should have started. We don’t have the little extra from our Midfield that threats testing the keeper at the very least. Spontaneous lacks; every other ball is to Trent or Robertson. We need to be less predictable.
Mathematically, we are still in 3 competitions. Everybody right now would love to be where we are.

7th May 2022 at 10:24 pm #195894Adlab, the only cards I have left in my pack is Wolves, West Ham and little Phillipe Coutinho ๐ Otherwise, the Title is yours Sir.

7th May 2022 at 10:26 pm #195895This is what I mean by 18-2-lost 1, and Pep ๐ You have to set a marker from the beginning and a precedent.

7th May 2022 at 10:31 pm #195897A good first half performance but an increasingly tired one as the game went on. Spurs dangerous on the break and in Son & Kane they have two of the best in the league. Still sense this may not yet be over.

8th May 2022 at 12:29 am #195898Jota should have started in place of whom? He pops up with the occasional goal but is a class down from the other 3 in my opinion. His link up and first touch is poor.

8th May 2022 at 8:16 am #195899Jota should have started instead of Salah. It’s about time he was dropped. His form has dipped. Jota last week had 3 efforts denied. For me, he would have made a difference.

8th May 2022 at 8:23 am #195900Ye Ed poor from Klopp really. Thatโs the way contes team play and spurs have improved defensively under him. They had 16 points from 21 going into last nights game. They blocked everything. They had 11 behind the ball. FairPlay to them. Thatโs football.
Jota hasnโt scored in 7 games and his over all play has been poor. We look tired 2nd half yday. We played well. Itโs game after game and it caught up with us last night.
Iโm just worried the season will end with nothing more but we keep going. Iโd rest a good few people on Tuesday. League is over but we did brilliantly to even begin arace. I could never see city dropping one point never mind 3.

8th May 2022 at 8:48 am #195901Just been watching yesterday’s football.
Ed. What did you think of United’s approach to the match and team selection. For me only two players really had their heart in it. De Gea and Ronaldo. I think this interim manager approach and an appointment before the end of the season has been a bit of a mess.Liverpool. One of those games We’ve had one or two. Although he is not in his best form, the positions Salah takes up to give a scoring opportunity is incredible. He would be the absolutely perfect player for us! I thought it was a reasonably fair result.

8th May 2022 at 9:02 am #195902Ye fair result adlab no excuses from us about refs or anything. We drew. End of story. Worry now is our players are feeling all the games so they we need to rest a few and the main priority has to be the cl

8th May 2022 at 9:03 am #195903Utd are just an embarrassment at this stage. Got slated a bit for saying varane was finished but heโs injured to much and heโs been very average most of the time he has played. Him and sancho have been very disappointing

8th May 2022 at 9:15 am #195904I don’t know why Origi wasn’t brought on yesterday. Spurs’ game plan is bish-bash-bosh with pace and we should have been vary of that. It doesn’t take a genius.
Over 35, it’s our fault. Why didn’t we beat City at Anfield at least? Only took 2 points off Chelsea and 2 points off Spurs. We shouldn’t struggle these days against teams that play ultra defensive with a classic counter-attack style. We have the tools.
Players are asked of high energy levels and the bottom line is, they will get to the point of being burnt out. Our calendar is ridiculous; only in this country where you’re cramming in ridiculous amounts of games when the season could be extended a couple of weeks.
We should never have dropped points to Brighton earlier this season. It’s all ‘if onlys’. 2019/20 was our strongest and we nailed it. This is what we need; to be on the front foot. At the worst, if City win this afternoon, it’s no more than 2 goals. At least it still gives us the opportunity to keep the race alive on Tuesday should we win.

8th May 2022 at 9:18 am #195905I’ll be over the moon and grateful if we win both Cups and push City all the way. The concern is some of our players are looking like they don’t have enough left in their tanks and we need to think about utilizing and rotation.

8th May 2022 at 9:28 am #195906Nil we were over ten points behind city in jan mate. The team deserves huge credit for coming back into it. We were always chasing city. It was never in our hands . I never expected city to drop points. Iโm not to deflated. We have been absolutely unbelievable and letโs finish the season a high mate with at least the cl

8th May 2022 at 12:21 pm #195908Sean, that’s absolutely true mate. It’s a humble way of looking at it. I do want the Cups. If the league goes it goes, as long as we give it everything which hand on heart in recent months, we have.
We have to be proud above all. Equally, it’d be hugely disappointing if we don’t win at least on of those cups in the coming weeks.

8th May 2022 at 12:31 pm #195909Adlab, I’d written this season off a while ago now. Doesn’t even annoy me any longer as I’ve just come to terms with the fact we’re rubbish now ๐.
Reading a lot of things about the dressing room being a toxic mess. Also reading some things about the club being astonished at how poor Rangnick has been setting things up. I was a bit wary about the Rangnick appointment as it felt a bit like the hype around Bielsa and I’ve seen little to change my mind that he’s the great coach he’s made out to be. Defence was a shambles yesterday. Lindelof awful. Varane poor. Nobody came out with any credit.
Have a read of this from Michael Cox if you have twitter. Sounds like Rangnick has really shocked the club with his incompetence. At this stage, I refuse to write off any players. It’s easy to point fingers and say players aren’t good enough but look at some of the players who were rubbish under Lampard and then looked world class under Tuchel like Rudiger and a few others.
The consultancy is meaningless. Itโs a contractual trick to pay him enough to justify him leaving a long contract for an interim job. The club appear have been appalled by his incompetence and are deeply unlikely to consult him about much at all.
