Sean,
Michael Oliver is my favourite Referee. I do like Chris kavanagh and Kevin Friend. Sian Massey is great too at her job and conscientious.
They need to really Handball ruling because as we’ve seen in real life instances that have come to light so far, the player is helpless and he is being wrongly penalized.
That’s where I personally feel troubled and threatened as a fan of the game. The Managers need to collectively form solidarity and voice their concerns.
Football has been Superb Mate Above All. Uplifting, Unpredictable and Competitive.
Big Game Mate Tomorrow π

27th September 2020 at 8:17 pm #167486Giblues, just donβt think Oliver got anything wrong today mate
The likes The people who make up these silly rules like the new handball one are idiots. The refs are only following the letter of the law
Also I was amazed when ferna came off. I really knew that would benefit Leicester and not city. Crazy decision from

27th September 2020 at 8:34 pm #167495Sean, no he didn’t and I have no problems with any of his decisions today.
And yes, you’re spot on about how the FA are interpreting the rules and the main reason I’m sadly losing my love for the game._____________________________

27th September 2020 at 8:38 pm #167500Tough game tomorrow nil
Me aul chum.Arsenal are much more organised these days without the ball. Nearly ten behind the ball and they will sit on the edge of their box. They have a massive threat going forward and we canβt let them get in behind
Really difficult game.

27th September 2020 at 8:41 pm #167502Stevo, no Alison, Thiago or Henderson tomorrow by the looks of it.
Alison is a huge loss and Thiago would have been perfect to try unlock a subbirn aresnal defence
I fully expect a very difficult game and the 1st goal is so important

27th September 2020 at 8:43 pm #167504Look, you might all know about this; but I drove past it again today and I think @QPR renaming their entire stadium in honour of a 15 Year old London kid who died in a knife attack is pretty righteous and doesnβt get the recognition it deserves.

27th September 2020 at 8:51 pm #167508Sean, I think it will be very similar to game at bridge except arsenal won’t get caught with a ball in behind like we did so you will rely on mane, salah or firminho coming up with bit of magic in tight spaces. Will be a tough game for you and a draw wouldnt surprise me.
I think the league needs arsenal to win to be honest, the way it is looking pool could be walking it again soon if the rest of us don’t shape up

27th September 2020 at 8:56 pm #167512Completely agree Sean, Arsenal are one of the few teams I worry about us playing because Arteta knows how to nullify us and as you say they carry a threat going forwards. Aubameyang signing a new contract was huge for them. It will also be a real indicator of the season ahead. Win, and weβll be confident of having another good season. But drop points, and it could be a pretty open league. Got Everton not long after too. Could be a real cracker. How long before the Ancelotti to Utd rumours start I wonder?

27th September 2020 at 8:57 pm #167513Ye Adrian still backup lucky. Heβs not a bad number two but made a few high profile mistakes last season mate
Arsenal are so well drilled now. They have an excellent defensive shape without the ball and are hard to break down. They go 1-0 and they just sit in againest the bigger sides with everyone behind the ball then have pace to break. It could be a very frustrating game chum

27th September 2020 at 9:00 pm #167517Ancelotti is an excellent manager mikius. Three signings have transformed their midfield. Two very good away wins so far
Derby is in 3 weeks time after the international break
Aresnal now remind me of Chelsea under conte. So well drilled and defensively so well organised yet are a real threat going forward aswell. Very difficult to break down

27th September 2020 at 9:02 pm #167519Yeah it will be no doubt, Arteta really got them organised and they are better defensively than they have been for like 20 years it seems.

27th September 2020 at 9:05 pm #167521Sean, spot on with conte comparison mate, that 343 system was not used by any top teams in this country before conte and see it quite a bit now
Arsenal played back 4 last few times I saw them I think, prob 343 tomorrow though, William, auba and laca can cause all sorts of trouble if they on it.

27th September 2020 at 9:12 pm #167526We have to be at the very top of our game for the whole time, up for it and committed, lucky and make no mistakes that we are still very likely to make under pressure especially Leno. We can win but not the team that played West Ham
Just hope the right team turn up to give us a chance_____________________________

27th September 2020 at 9:22 pm #167531Respecting the Opposition First and Foremost is not a bad place to start.
There are Teams Ready to Compete and earn their ‘pound of flesh’ and rightly so in a dog-eat-dog League.
