Chelsea lads that’s it. No need to panic. If I was a Chelsea fan, I’d be happy to see/hear frank saying how it’s 2 points dropped and disappointing
He was fuming. Silva probs hasn’t made a mistake like that in years. Chilwell comes in for Alonso. Pulasic still has to come back
There are so many big changes that’s it’s going to take time.
Get everyone bsck fit. Get a settled side. A permanent bsck 4 and no chopping and changing the back 4 every week if it can be avoid.,

The utd abd chelsea games were excellent
First time I’ve really forgotten about the crowds and it was enjoyable

27th September 2020 at 9:49 am #167204Nil, I thought that if the ball hits a hand in the box it’s handball, whether it’s accidental or deliberate, but that wasn’t the case yesterday and I am unsure why. There is obviously a ruling that I’ve either missed or don’t know about.

27th September 2020 at 10:00 am #167205Shines, that’s effectively how I see it too. I only watched the United highlights, so not aware of anything else that may have took place elsewhere.

27th September 2020 at 10:52 am #167206They have tweaked it but no one seems to understand….including refs and pros 🤣
Anything that hits the sleeve (shirt sleeve shirt) or above is not hand ball
Then it’s the “natural” position of the arm, hence why the Man U one was wss AS his arm was up but the one that was headed on to a defenders arm shouldn’t have been but was anyway 🤣 his arms were downIt’s all fucked 🤣

27th September 2020 at 11:21 am #167216We could do with some of the players not being so enthusiastic about appealing as well. In many cases they have not even seen the incident clearly. It reminds me of cricket appeals , when. a player, say at deep mid wicket appeals for an LBW. The Ref/Umpire are usuually in the right place and nw have VAR to review….that also means the Ref does not always get it right….or…VAR!!!!!

27th September 2020 at 12:32 pm #167243Re-watched the United Highlights properly and just seen the Palace Everton one too.
Re Handball. There’s 3 instances in my mind that defines this this Rule
1- Maupay raised his hand intentionally to me to form some kind of influence to defend. Deliberate Handball
2- Ward Incident One. I use an ‘analogy’ of a Lamp-post on a pavement where the ball has been kicked on to and nothing can ever be done to prevent as it’s stationary.
3- Ward again: This is the Grey area because the ball hits his hand, but it was more accidental than deliberate with the flight of the cross etc coming at speed. The way Ward was stood too. Maybe that range of movement was more to support his balance than any intent to handle.
Good Refereeing in a sense that Chris kavanaugh and Kevin Friend at the very least took the time to review the incident on the monitor and then make a decision using their own judgement and video footage.

27th September 2020 at 1:57 pm #167276Get In Leeds! Bamford earning a really solid 3 points. 2 Wins which isn’t a bad start for a team that’s been out of the top flight for 16 years.
Some nice fantasy points gained too 🙂

then the game Brighton vs United[less said, the better]
WBA vs Chelsea,Havertz clear handall for the equaliser._____________________________

27th September 2020 at 4:01 pm #167323What sort of rule is this. What ever happened to deliberate handball. Dier had his back to the ball. It really is beyond belief.

27th September 2020 at 4:09 pm #167331AnonymousIt seems that they have thought in all their wisdom “We can’t judge intent to any degree of perfection, so let’s just shaft everyone and the game as a whole.”
There are people in high paying jobs who have no business being there. They are ruining the sport.

27th September 2020 at 4:20 pm #167337Very harsh as the ball is headed on to the Defender’s Arm who merely just innocently jumped to try and head the ball.
I think the argument is that the arm was raised above shoulder (if that’s the official rule).
