Nil, it just made me chuckle mate that’s all but absolutely no problem. City clear favourites but I think Chelsea will give them a game and strange things can happen in the Cup remember Wimbledon and Wigan at Wembley.π

22nd March 2021 at 8:01 am #176765Adlab, Maguire was poor yesterday. Vardy ran him ragged. He’s been pretty good though this season, to be fair to him. He’s far from the biggest issue Utd have at the moment.

22nd March 2021 at 4:59 pm #176782Quadruple talk is just for the media so they have something negative to say were we to lose a match.

22nd March 2021 at 9:49 pm #176784Stevo….there is one thing about most City fans, they are realistic and neither optimistic or pessimistic but have a believe it when you see it mentality. This maybe a Mancunian trait as well…not sure about the other half they have a divine right!!!!! We are still noisy neighbour!!!

22nd March 2021 at 9:52 pm #176785Adlab…you are perfectly right..a media build up so they can have bigger headlines when it does not happen to the ill thought out prediction. and to think…they get paid for it as well.

23rd March 2021 at 8:23 am #176788“Richard Keys has claimed that some Tottenham Hotspur players might be tempted to βdown toolsβ against Manchester City during the upcoming League Cup final in an effort to accelerate Jose Mourinhoβs departure from the club.”
Now we know why Richard Keys remains in exile.π

23rd March 2021 at 8:53 am #176789A Random thought whilst we’re in ‘International Break Mode’ but I was just watching some retro footage on you-tube and looked back to when both Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler had spells at Man City. When the Sponsors back then were Thomas Cook and First Advice.
How far has the Club Progressed and Excelled. We are talking about a Quadruple π π

23rd March 2021 at 9:52 am #176791It genuinely baffles me that City fans still hold this view that the world is against them. They’re very much the media darlings at the moment. The media can’t get enough of Pep & co. So much talk about the winning run and whether or not they could make it and now so much talk about the quadruple. That City fans now see that as some kind of warped way of setting them up to fail is bizarre.
Enjoy it lads, it doesn’t last forever! You’re really losing out on so much well deserved recognition by constantly acting like there’s some kind of agenda against your club.

23rd March 2021 at 10:29 am #176792AnonymousEd I sense a bit of disguised bitterness in recent times towards City in general, not to worry we all go through that till we reach a higher plane when all those nasty feelings simply disappear.

23rd March 2021 at 11:14 am #176794Not at all Moos. I’d sooner City won things than most of the other top sides with whom we’ve had longer rivalries fighting for titles. We’ve never really been good at the same time City have been good and vice versa. That may change if Utd get their act together soon but we’ve not had years and years of fighting for the same titles like we’ve had with the other sides.
I just find the whole “poor City. The world hates us” attitude mind boggling as City get so much praise and recognition.
I realise you’re one of the newer generation of City fans so you might not know why there is that mindset generally, but I’d love to know where it comes from.

23rd March 2021 at 12:33 pm #176796AnonymousNo I’m still a Chelsea fan but if they can’t win then City must, simple as that, that’s besides always looking forward to watching them play their beautiful game. They make football an art to behold.

Thatβs it then many of us will find another club to support, I have now swapped City and Chelsea around
Thatβs it then I will formally move over to City.

23rd March 2021 at 3:28 pm #176800ED…a bit rich coming from a Utd fan after all the years od sdulation the media and still have with Utd. I am not complying or do I agree with you about City fans, like I have said recently Most City fanns I know are neither optimistic or pessimistic but have a sense of reality and I probably know more City fans than you do. Nothing to worry about RD, we will just keep plodding along and I would like to see Utd in the top 4, being a Mancunian. Matt Busby certainly built something at Old Trafford
