Smith Rowe is very good and the biggest surprise for me as Iβd not heard much before he burst on the scene …. and that was due to injury rather then deliberately
Love Tierney and saka too
Would love to see martinelli given more time but maybe he is being protectedHappy with odegard and surprised
Very tidy and settled quick
Means we wonβt get him now! Hope we do and cabellos can go not good enough for me_____________________________

15th March 2021 at 12:16 pm #176605I like Odegard. More than capable of playing in the Premier League.
Also Saka is impressive every time I see him play._____________________________

15th March 2021 at 12:17 pm #176606Be and Jane didnβt turn up as spurs didnβt have the ball nine in the first half
Jose adopted the exact same tactics v wear ham a few weeks ago.
Jose very much to blame for yesterday aswell as other things. Spurs were terrible

15th March 2021 at 2:28 pm #176607Sean, I know you like to give Jose the occasional kicking π, often well deserved seemingly Mourinho’s plan in the first half yesterday at his pragmatic best was to suck Spurs in and hit them on the break but he changed that in the second half.
I’m not defending Mourinho and how he can so easily slip back into his defensive ways I’m was just saying that imo the major reason Spurs lost yesterday were down to Kane and Bale not turning up bar the last 15/20 minutes in terms of Kane, the Son injury,Lamella getting sent off and Davison giving away a stupid penalty. Just my opinion buddie it’s all about opinions.π Cheers 9’s

15th March 2021 at 2:35 pm #176609No worries Steve π. I suspected so. Still, I’m sure you’ll be pleased to beat that United anyway!

15th March 2021 at 2:56 pm #176613If we want to finish above them we need to beat them
Hope we can put a little run together but wonβt hold me breath!_____________________________

15th March 2021 at 3:09 pm #176614His negative attitude pissed me off nine I have to say mate as he clearly has the fire power to be more adventurous
Spurs were 2nd best bigtine before the pen, sending off etc
His approach isnβt working anymore.

15th March 2021 at 3:34 pm #176615Sean, with the players he has at his disposal Jose could afford to be less defensive tbh Spurs have looked alarmingly good for a few games pre to this game especially going forwards.
I’m hoping Jose reverts back to his defensive ways and mucks it all up at least in the PL. Cheers 9’s

15th March 2021 at 3:44 pm #176617Jose is probably worried about the fixture congestion and keeping key attackers fit. He also probably has one eye on the league cup final next month.

15th March 2021 at 4:39 pm #176619Ye but who did spurs play nine?
They beat palace, burnley
Jose hadnβt changed at all. Still the same tactics he used for years but now he doesnβt get the results

15th March 2021 at 10:21 pm #176622Very bad injury on Rui Patricio – hope he’s not in too much pain and quick recovery.
Pleased overall with our win tonight and finally back to winning ways, it feels so estranged. A little scrappy at times in our passing but we look a lot settled now and balanced since Fabinho’s moved back into midfield and Jota’s replaced Firmino.
Clean sheet which is a plus. No games now for us till Easter. If we can avoid double figures in defeats from our remaining fixtures, it would be a big plus in my view.

16th March 2021 at 12:24 pm #176626I think Mourinho is a victim of his own success. wherever he goes there is a huge expectation that he could win the league for that team. even though that team needs building a sqaud capable of challenging the league. i would also, Mourinho the individual doens’t have a good reputation outside football. so if you combine those two, you will get on one hand, gorups who are frustrated that he didn’t win the league for their team, and a group that doesn’t like him and who will ignore everything he has done in football, just because they don’t like Mourinho the person.
