Yeah, Waspy, looked poor on the replays… not the hardest save he would have made today…

3rd March 2024 at 5:14 pm #212962Phil Foden is something else, England’s best for sure, however City are very open at the back, United can steal a breakaway goal.

3rd March 2024 at 5:14 pm #212963United generally have given a good account of themselves, but apart from Rashford, there’s nothing else up top on offer as a threat. Bruno although providing the assist to Rashford’s goal has been quiet. No wide men really for the Reds, so the dynamic is pretty much route one and one dimensional.

3rd March 2024 at 5:16 pm #212964Once Klopp goes, the only manager really to push Pep will be Arteta.

3rd March 2024 at 5:21 pm #212967Come of it Nil… YooUtd have been so bad 2nd best doesn’t really cover it, took a worldie (fluke) to get the lead, and then played like Luton until the inenvitable happened… 115 are deserved winners heres, no contest.

3rd March 2024 at 5:24 pm #212969Chucks, no threat mate, but I can’t take away any credit and berate them for holding City up for nearly an hour away from home. Though one might say at this level, that’s just not good enough; especially for a Manchester United.
Chucks you don’t have to feel any threat of 4th and 5th place being overtaken on this evidence.

3rd March 2024 at 5:28 pm #212971We put the Spurs in Spursy, Nil, I’ll feel threatened until it’s mathmatically impossible… 🙂
Not many teams can go toe to toe with the 115… and fully understandable many clubs “park the bus”… but a club of YooUts’s stature?? Got what they deserved and you have to blame the manager for setting them up that way…

3rd March 2024 at 5:33 pm #212974Who would have predicted this 😀 Sunny spells to begin with, spot of rain, then a thunderstorm. Some nice tunes played there. We’re in for a treat next week.

3rd March 2024 at 5:33 pm #212975Utd got deeper and deeper as the game went on. And the inevitable happened.

3rd March 2024 at 5:40 pm #212976Utd relied on the counter and had a couple of chances to execute it whilst still at 1-0 but failed and then 2nd half was like a training session. Foden was excellent but Utd apart from the two CBs and goalie (for most part anyway) were rubbish, played like an underdog two leagues beneath in an fa cup tie.
I said before the game Utd need to be aggressive and in their faces but they weren’t, they were timid. Awful tactics from one of the supposed big boys.

3rd March 2024 at 6:04 pm #212977Men against boys in the end.
You saw it coming and they could not continue playing they did, especially with the players City have got.
Congratulations to City.

3rd March 2024 at 9:37 pm #212987Just summat light hearted; for anybody remembering A Question Of Sport on the BBC from the mid 80s etc, Onana has to be up there for “What Happens Next” 😀 Priceless 🙂

3rd March 2024 at 9:42 pm #212988Really poor from Utd but not sure anyone expected much else as we’ve been poor for most of the season and they’ve been very good. Was certainly no surprise to me anyway. Ten Hag just hanging on now until the inevitable happens. Ineos will want their own man in so just a matter of time now I feel.

4th March 2024 at 7:10 am #213000I think that is part of the issue Ed, it is no real surprise. People expect that now, it has become the norm for us but it really shouldn’t be.
We had something to defend after the wonder strike, Rashford did go down easily in the build up to their equaliser but there was more contact there then on their pen at OT.
Big summer from us but all the talk appears to be about a huge clear out – which we need, but we also need several positions filled too.
