I was keeping yo with the scores via the phone app. Quite happy at one point! (And not the pool score!). Just a constant reminder of how good the game we all love is. Not looking forward to tomorrow.

2nd March 2024 at 8:46 pm #212890Ye im not sure alfie as the sane happenend earlier in the game. Elliot hit a shot that hit yates in the head and play was stopped and forest got the ball?
Really not sure but why has a club employed a former ref? Maddness
Ill take it in anyway. We didn’t deserve the win but we kept going.

2nd March 2024 at 8:59 pm #212891I did think π€ why forest didbt have the ball after it though? So really not sure but seemingly same thing happened to us in tye first half? Refs decision and if wrong we got lucky.
Good to see the chairman on the pitch lol
Seemingly he was waiting for tierney in the tunnel. Forest be in big trouble. Their two centre halves were excellent todsyI hope they go down. Bought around 40 players and hardly played most of them.love yo see luton stay up ahead of them. Be interesting to see if they get points deducted for fffp aswell

2nd March 2024 at 10:26 pm #212893Adlab talks like the club with 115 charges has never benefited from refereeing decisions.
The reason why you rarely hear about them is because the amount his club spends to avoid negative PR.
If you ever seen an plastic club, look no further.

3rd March 2024 at 7:38 am #212905The ref made a mistake but not the massive one being portrayed. There were still different passages of play until the goal, the biggest mistake was the Forset lad not hoofing it the the edge of his own area.
I have seen a comment from a City fan saying Liverpool should be punished for this blantant cheating with a deduction of points. This from a City fan of all people discussing cheating!
On to today and I have a feeling Utd will play the same way they did at Anfield. The problem is City don’t play risky football like Liverpool and will just keep probing until they get the goals. I can see it being a 1-0 win to City with about 80% possession. Really hope I’m wrong and Utd are aggressive and in their faces from the start and attack with tempo but I can’t see it happening.

3rd March 2024 at 8:15 am #212906CM You spout as much nonsense as some politicians. Please have a little more respect.
I think I’ll take a break from this for a while.
Ed. Sorry but some comments are unacceptable. I don’t wish to be part of personal attacks. Hate my team, be jealous but its one step away from those idiots who support other sites.
Very disappointing._____________________________

3rd March 2024 at 8:32 am #212909Ye alfie ref defo got it wrong. Hes a terrible ref. As threeps says it happened to us in the first half with the yates and elliot shot.
There was around a 90 second gap. Forest have employed a refree !!! Thats just crazy. A club who have bent the rules and they are talking about justice. Liverpool have lost 9 points from incorrect decisions this season. Ill take that all day

3rd March 2024 at 8:59 am #212910Adlab-
Which bit is nonsense?
https://medium.com/@NcGeehan/the-men-behind-man-city-a-documentary-not-coming-soon-to-a-cinema-near-you-14bc8e393e06In 2012, when Manchester City were just beginning to hit their stride in England, a senior investigative journalist at a large British broadcasting company told me that their colleagues in sport would be very displeased if negative news coverage of the Abu Dhabi governmentβs links to Manchester City led to them being denied access to the club and its players.
It is like you cannot accept your club is a sport washing tool and hypocrites likes yourself and your manager just bury your heads in the sand because they are delivering some tin pots.
Don’t let me start with your owners links to child slavery.
Your club employs Simon Pearce to ensure nothing negative gets said about your club in the press.

3rd March 2024 at 9:11 am #212911Just read from what’s been reported on the BBC site from Clattenburg. I don’t really rate ex-refs getting involved retrospectively and correcting current Refs on the circuit. They themselves in the past have got decisions wrong I’m sure. Nobody’s perfect.
There was a head injury inflicted on Konate and Forest had possession at the time. Rather than a ‘dropball’, Ref chose to give the ball to Kelleher.
This didn’t even lead to the goal anyway. The 8 minutes was legitimate due to the injury inflicted on the Forest Keeper from Jayden Danns. This nearly led to the Keeper being forced to come off from the impact. It was 8 minutes, plus anything else in between added up.
Naturally, this had been blown up as a result of Liverpool’s injury time winner as I’m sure many presumed we were going to drop points. And to be fair, I probably would have taken a draw given our previous history of not winning for a long long time at Forest.

3rd March 2024 at 9:43 am #212913Just to steer this away from our apparent jealously of City anyone see what happened in Spain? Quite the opposite of play until the big boys score!

3rd March 2024 at 9:47 am #212914Didn’t see yesterdays game (caught the highlights this morning) but a deserved 3 point for us Spuds, against another team playing ten behind the ball… cracking the “low-block” is something we need to be working on…
Anyway, a 115 fan today for obvious reasons… need to keep that gap to 6th as wide as possible… and a huge 6 pointer next weekend…

3rd March 2024 at 10:08 am #212915We’re going to lose first place anyway come this time next week.
Gunners play Sheff United and Brentford and that’s essentially 6 points in the bag. They’ll be 1 point ahead of Liverpool.
Differentiation is there is genuinely a 3rd team in the City Liverpool ‘love affair’. Unlike 2019, 2022 etc.
I think the game at Anfield next Sunday is the 6 pointer.

3rd March 2024 at 10:54 am #212917Nil, yes Arsenal have a couple of “easy” games next but overal I think Liverpool have the easier remaining fixtures (just). Out of the tradional big six, Liverpool play the fewest:
Liverpool: City (H) Utd (A), Spurs (H)
City: Utd (H), Liverpool (A) Arsenal (H) Spurs (A)
Arsenal: Chelsea (H), City (A), Spurs (A), Utd (A)I mentioned on a previous thread that Spurs play City, Arsenal and Liverpool in consecutive matches towards the end of the season and will have a massive say in where the title ends up, and of course for their own top 4 ambitions.
You could also throw Villa into the mix as they play all three still, home to Liverpool on the penultimate round and away at City and Arsenal.

3rd March 2024 at 11:38 am #212918Three P’s second para is spot on re Spurs and Villa. It’s good that they won their matches y’day. Both I’m sure fancy 4th and so they’ll aspire playing Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool.
That’s the significance I believe that will determine who wins it. I didn’t think we would win at both Brentford and Forest. Lol I put draw and defeat in the Table Calculator a couple of weeks ago and still managed to doctor us to win the Title π
I don’t know about next Sunday. Could we get away with a draw? Arsenal are scoring goals for fun. We’re level as it stands but I would expect them to rack up from the next 2 games at least 6 goals if not more.
Unless I’m mistaken, I can’t remember a real 3 horse Title race in the history of the Premier League. Even if Liverpool do win next Sunday, I can’t see City fading. I’m sure somewhere down the line, Liverpool themselves will drop points either at Everton or Man United or both. Kelleher though has been a different animal and at the top, we’re just finding away to score. Maybe there is something in that relating to of course Klopp’s forthcoming departure.

3rd March 2024 at 11:43 am #212919I’ve mentioned this already in reply on here, but if the complaining is about time that was added on that related to Liverpool’s late winner, there was justification that warranted those minutes. It was the collision on the Forest Keeper and the time needed for treatment to the injury inflicted on his head.
Factor also the numerous changes Liverpool made to impact the dynamic enabling them to press at Forest. It’s a bit like Bernardo Silva finding Haaland last minute.
I do get the frustration from rival fans and that’s absolutely win. Stats I’m sure will reflect our press including the amount of corners. I don’t believe at all we were lucky. It was just a matter of time.
