Touche^ D/H.
United ruined 20 years of my life, mainly the 1990s.

27th February 2023 at 5:35 pm #204854Come on Nil, that’s not exclusive to Liverpool 😄 re the mickey mouse cup thing. Every set of fans belittle achievements of their rivals while every set of fans enjoy the titles their side win, whatever they are. That’s just how football rivalries work.

27th February 2023 at 5:46 pm #204855Besides, Liverpool fans moaning about having had it tough in the 90s because you “didn’t win enough” sound incredibly spoilt. You’ve won every trophy available in the last decade. Do you think rival fans enjoyed any of that gloating? Spare a thought for the likes of Chucky who has (and will likely) never see his side lift a trophy! Or the many sides who struggle to get by. Nobody feels sorry for you after winning 2 and almost 4 trophies less than a year ago 😁

27th February 2023 at 6:00 pm #204859Probably an Audi cup in there somewhere Chucky too. I stand corrected. The point still stands though minus the point that you’ve not seen the mighty Spurs lift a trophy 😄

27th February 2023 at 6:31 pm #204860I’m not complaining about the lack of trophies liverpool won ed. I’m complaining about the amount man utd won, and the subsequent gloating that went with it. You have to admit Man U fans growing up with me in the 90s are an insufferable bunch. I know a few that refused to watch under lvg, Jose and Ole, and all of a sudden they’re die hards again.

27th February 2023 at 6:43 pm #204861Oh I don’t deny we have a lot of annoying fans Harry but you’re not seriously one of these fans who thinks their own team’s fans are superior to everyone else I hope. There’s a reason Liverpool fans were referred to as “the unbearables”. Are Liverpool fans any worse than any others, though? Of course not. Nor are Utd fans. There’s just a lot more of both Liverpool and Utd fans which makes it more noticeable than any others when the tides change.

27th February 2023 at 6:58 pm #204862What can I say? Pool fans in the eighties, YooUtd fans in ninties and naughties, backing vocals by Jammy Dodgers and the filth, Innocent City fans in the Teens… all a bunch of whingebag tossers!!!
Picking the worst of a bad bunch is a bit like the Lampard/Gerrard debate… never going to end!!
(And, fyi, young man, I can very well remember 3 FA Cups and a UEFA Cup, to go along with the Micky Audi Mouse Cup! 🙂 )

27th February 2023 at 7:07 pm #204864That’s pretty much it Chucky. The one thing in common in all those sets of fans is a sustained period of success. The only way of having a fanbase which neutrals don’t really mind is by having a team who don’t win anything. Yesterday a great example. Neutrals love Newcastle fans. Give it a few years when the Saudis have spent billions and see how many neutrals like them.

27th February 2023 at 7:11 pm #204865To be honest, never really liked Bone Saw Boyz, all that best 1-club footballing who wins nowt but loyalty points and whippets nonsense… and that was before the Saudi’s took over!!
I mean, even I was cheering for your mob yesterday!!

28th February 2023 at 6:48 am #204873You’ll probably find a lot of those arrogant annoying Utd fans are now City fans!
I remember Liverpool fans giving it out when we won the CL and Utd won the Carling Cup in 2006. Think it was a picture of the Euopean Cup next to a mug with a can of Carling in it if memory serves me right.
Well done Utd. Still a Mickey mouse cup (which I would have loved to win this season!)

28th February 2023 at 7:47 am #204874Any of the domestic cup wins should be cherished. My gripe was when some out there made a point of Liverpool winning on Penalty Shootouts. Who Cares?🤔⚽️🥳😸 Its all worth it in the end when there’s a summer bus parade out in the home City with the Supporters.🏆

1st March 2023 at 9:59 am #204878Yes you did Ed, although I agreed he has been impressive since taking over and will be an option for the bigger teams.
Easy to see where the issue with Chelsea is
6 – Chelsea have scored six goals across their last 12 games in the Premier League; no side has scored fewer in the competition since the start of November. Chore. pic.twitter.com/fKrdXiwyeR

1st March 2023 at 8:35 pm #204881It really is trying to sip a glass of Lemonade that’s flat and lost it’s fizz.
If that’s an Analogy of some sort. This team is really in the doldrums and the it’s this term in particular that’s really accentuated under ALL of Jurgen Klopp’s reign.
