The word is Gradual. We were quite rigid to begin with. Perhaps that’s a confidence thing. As the first half worn on though, our Zip with passing was with more purpose and authority.

The Pen miss has increased our confidence. Pleased with our efforts on target. It’s encouraging and if we kept Sterling out, I’m confident over time, we can find the winner we need.

9, I’ve always told my juniors to aim for the seam where the back of the net joins the side, gives a little bit of room for error, however I’ve also told them I’d sooner them put it slightly wide than have it saved going down the middle. On the flip side I’ve always told the keepers to make out they’re going to dive but in the end just stand still and hope one comes down the middle, haven’t lost a penalty shootout yet…..Pagan
