13th February 2021 at 10:13 pm #175353With the pandemic, people have had more time to sit and reflect, we know heโs lost his mother, is his father alive? He has the money and if heโs seriously reassessed his life and come to a decision to leave football then all you can do is wish him well. I personally hope itโs not true, but if it is itโs a big loss for football…..Pagan

13th February 2021 at 10:14 pm #175354Far too many injuries in reality every other week and for a Leicester fan on the Radio to be dismissive and just callous and ill informed and uneducated.

13th February 2021 at 10:16 pm #175355He’s lost his Mother. He shouldn’t even be remotely in any mainstream Interview. Forget the Title.

13th February 2021 at 10:26 pm #175356Yes seen it. Heโs a very emotional guy. Just think itโs been a lot for him to deal with in recent weeks. In an ideal world, heโd take a few weeks off to get his head together. Not really possible in football. Still be surprised if he walks, but weโll see.

13th February 2021 at 11:24 pm #175359I’d LOVE for him to stay. But the Owners need to come forward. Show their Loyalty, Humanity and Support. Liverpool is on Another Planet for True Togetherness.

14th February 2021 at 6:46 am #175360Hope Klopp stays for the longer term, his been brilliant for Liverpool and every manager goes through a bad period some a bit longer than others, I still regret Lampard being sacked. They should have given him more time or more help. We must take into account all the seriously bad stuff that’s happening in the world right now and no end in sight. It effects everyone mentally at some point.

14th February 2021 at 8:22 am #175363Nil, if you tune into radio phone ins and go on to social media you’re going to hear and see criticism of Liverpool stay away from those two areas and you won’t hear or see it.
It’s not just a Liverpool thing by the way Chelsea were hammered from all sides in 2015 for their title defence.

14th February 2021 at 8:36 am #175364I think that Klopp will want to go again next season at Liverpool but he needs backing from FSG in the transfer market I don’t think he got that in the January window with Liverpool scrambling around for loan signings and bargain basement signings on the last couple of days of the window and realistically there still may be limitations on how much FSG can give him in the Summer.
If Klopp doesn’t feel the owners are doing their best to back him in the Summer window that could make him consider his position.
The pressures of the game particularly in the top Clubs is now so intense it’s very difficult for Managers to stay at the same Club for any great length of time, the days of the SAF’s and the Arsene Wenger’s are long gone.

14th February 2021 at 9:44 am #175365Thanks Nine. Having had time to try and digest this all in, even just looking at how far behind we’re in the table compared the the standards and the levels we were at, it’s hard to take at the moment.
It’s been a while since losing 3 games on the bounce. That West Ham win seems a long time back.

14th February 2021 at 11:02 am #175367Nil mate, donโt be to despondent chum.
Hopefully klopp rumours are just a hoax.
The absolute bull shit coming out of some pundits and our fans is ridiculous mate.
Much more balance from opposing fans on here and do what nine says mate. Stay away from social media if it winds you up. Itโs mostly banter. It doesnโt bother me. When things go wrong , you have to be able to take a bit of stick
There are many reasons why this is happening. We didnโt act in the summer when Lovren left. Huge risk going in with fabhino as 4th choice centre half.
We left it far to late to bring in cbs in jan. people writing kabak off after one game aswell is hilarious. People asking for Becker to be dropped after his first mistakes since he spilled a lackau shot two years ago?
Every single game , we have a key player from a previous game missing. These are not excuses. Itโs very difficult to get any kind of balance when you have the centre back pairing every single game. We are missing key midfielders as they are playing at Cb. 3 senior centre backs out
Jota coming in helped and we are doing very well then he gets injured.
We played well yday until 78 minutes. Thiago has been a disaster as his tackling is becoming a liability . You could see yday he is no were up to the pace of the pl bit like fabhino when he first came but you canโt blame him for our issues now
We just need to suck it up abd get on with it. Top 4 is going to be very difficult but letโs get behind the team. Salah, mane etc could leave and Iโd get over quick but if klopp left Iโd be devastated.
Heโs done at absolutely remarkable job . 125m net spend. We were in the gutter when he joined. I just hope if he leaves, itโs when fans are back so we show our massive appreciation .
Very difficult period for him but letโs just get through the season and regroup in the summer with a clear head

14th February 2021 at 11:32 am #175368Sean, it’s mainly when watching highlights on You Tube. I found one refreshing comment from a Spurs fan and hats off to whoever that person is. The rest of them just filling their boots straight on to the bang-wagon.
I don’t really know of many and try and going to keep away from Twitter. There is less reasoning and rational comments. A bit of stick is normal but some just take it on another level.
Of course it’s tough mate but like you say we have to suck it up and deal with it.
What was Kabak doing yesterday? All over the Shop. I love Allison and feel for him. How much do we miss Van Dijk and just an organized defense? We need to arrest the losing streak. Hopefully we do much better in the CL.
As far as the league goes, we’d be lucky to finish in the Top 6. We just need a run of good results now, not another player to be injured and players coming back.
It’s just a contrast and as everything that could go wrong has gone wrong, but I’m more than determined for all of us to stick together and get behind our beloved Manager and Team.

14th February 2021 at 11:58 am #175369Facebook has the worst social site forums where people post some real nasty stuff, far worse than Trump ever did, not sure if they get banned. I got a couple of bans for 3 days simply for telling people they talking rubbish, those that post death threats and similar stuff get away with it. But anyway that’s the type of stuff you get on FB.

14th February 2021 at 11:58 am #175370Nil, you’ve had three brilliant season mate almost winning the PL title in one of them and getting to two consecutive CL Finals winning one and then finally winning the PL title last season.
Other than perhaps City no other PL team got has anywhere near the seasons Liverpool have had over the last three seasons so all those fans ripping into Liverpool on phone ins are talking out of their Arsenal’s.๐
To fully enjoy the good times we all have to suffer the bad times with our Clubs now and again and 90% of football fans will never achieve a fraction of what Liverpool achieved over the last three seasons.
This season may be a blank one for Liverpool but no opposition fans with an ounce of sense would write Liverpool off next season.
If you’re feeling a bit down about it all remember it’s only a game and then watch “The End of the Storm” on Sky Sports that will cheer you up.

14th February 2021 at 12:15 pm #175374Nil, you do not become a better team when things go well but when things go wrong and you learn from it. Football is an unforgiving game name with media and social networks but you have to remember that you and your family are more important. I have no doubt Liverpool will recover , with or without Mr Klopp. There also has to some issues with all the injuries and at the moment a Plan B is needed. I do not think it is a money issue either, Liverpool have a good squad but some cannot continue with the style and others cannot do it, therefore that is why I suggested Plan B. Liverpool will work it out, cannot see Mr Klopp leaving, hehas tasted the good times now it is up to him to get them back
