Today’s keepers are terrible compared to the yesteryear keepers. Loris could have saved both goals, never really rated him. But it’s good for the other top teams that City win this game. Not a difficult prediction it was

13th February 2021 at 7:20 pm #175315Who should he get rid of, well that’s the easy one, one he can replace with a player of the same qualities, it’s all about keeping the squad on their toes. As I’ve said before all managers nowadays have a shelf life, you can only read the same motivational speech a certain number of times before the players get bored of it, so you have to either change the speaker of the listener…..Pagan

13th February 2021 at 7:28 pm #175317Just picked up one of the calls from tonight’s phone in; have to say compared to Man City, we’ve not quite had the transfer backing from our owners when considering we’ve won 2 Elite Prizes in the last 2 years.

13th February 2021 at 7:45 pm #175319Well, seemingly looking into this, there was quite an eventful 20 minutes. Seemingly a VAR controversy too and a mix up between Allison and Kabak.

13th February 2021 at 7:49 pm #175321Nike you are correct about FSG backing. There isn’t another Coutinho to sell at a silly price.

13th February 2021 at 8:03 pm #175322Congrats to the City lads on here, never in doubt and only one team in it.
I do believe we need a new keeper , Lloris of old may have stopped all 3 goals,Another defeat means a day closer to Jose getting the sack, come on Daniel swallow your pride and admit you f….d up hiring him.He still doesn’t know his best line up which is a joke,I’ll be amazed if we get a top ten finish, as for the Carabao Cup , it will be embarrassing, Jose out._____________________________

13th February 2021 at 8:08 pm #175323Nine @ 6:03; haha All True Mate; Hope You’re Well and in Good Spirits. Very True and Poignant about the saying of Tall Poppies. It seems convenient for Opposition fans out there on the Internet to dig in their heels when the chips are down.
Cheers

13th February 2021 at 8:21 pm #175325Sorry pagan was looking for names of players who you think need to be replaced?
Jota was brought in to push the front 3 but is injured.,
You think we should change the manager as the players need a new voice to listen to new ideas? We have had our most successful few years in decades and the first sign of trouble , get rid of some of our best players and the manager?
Klopp is in his fifth full season here so his decaying 6th year shoujd be next season

13th February 2021 at 8:24 pm #175326That’s what makes our success all the better in my view nil. We can’t just pull 100m out of the sky. We have to sell to buy. Even Chelsea do that now but city abd utd can afford not to.
We can’t spend money like city or utd. Klopps net spend is 120m yet we won the league and the cl. Remarkable that’s why I won’t go overboard after a bad 7 weeks

13th February 2021 at 8:31 pm #175327Sean, he’s in season 6, he missed just over a quarter of a season. I’m not saying Klopp is a bad manager, but all managers nowadays have a shelf life, Klopp’s is quite long in comparison to most.
Most of your first 11 have been there a while, there’s no pressure on them, you may have bought players in to try and challenge them, but you do need to sometimes replace one, just to stop the players becoming comfortable.
The other consideration with Klopp is there’s two big Spanish clubs that need a rebuild, and he’s proved that he can do that, which most of the other “big names” haven’t….Pagan

13th February 2021 at 8:40 pm #175328His fifth full season pagan. He started to buy his own players in the summer of 2016 and that’s when he started to build his team.
Longevity of a manager to me shows he is going well. You don’t get rid of a manager after he wins a league because you think he is there to long. It’s 7 bad weeks and now huge changes are needed? Don’t get the over reaction my self
I know you don’t think klopp is a bad Manet be bizarre if anyone did considering what’s he achieved in a league that has clubs who can spent what they want.
He’s a world class manager and a few are writing him
And us off far quickly in my opinionIt’s as plain as day to see what our issues are without going into it as it’s seen as an excuse and not a reason

13th February 2021 at 8:57 pm #175330Agree Sean. Can’t see Klopp at either of Barca or Real. I think he has another big club job in him though. Could he go to Bayern?
I think there’s something in the point Pagan makes. In general, I do think managers have a shelf life at one club. I do think it’s too soon though to question whether Klopp has taken the club as far as he can, though. He may well have done but he’s earned the right to show this is nothing more than a blip.
Utd U18s march on today. We might be trailing City by some way at senior level but our u18s won the derby 4-2 today widening the gap at the top of the league. 4 goals from the hugely talented Charlie McNeill. Remember the name
