Sean to be fair not many would have predicted that. Sure Chelsea are looking poor in front of goals but at home against the bottom team is a shocker for any team let alone one that spent half a trillion recently.

To be fair, and I only saw the last 35 minutes or so, there were at least two “how did that not go in” moments, they should have won that match for sure… they had plenty of possession, plenty of attempts, etc… more of a bad day at the office rather than a “don’t know what you’re doing”… the Saints just defended valiantly, had a couple of half chances of their own (final ball let them down a couple of times!), but they were certainly 2nd best.

I think Potter should have thought more about taking the Chelsea job when he did. Chelsea trying to play the long game or not, you only have so much time at a top club if results aren’t forthcoming.

Banjo, first half was dreadful and saints had more chances and possession. Second half it changed as we pushed for equaliser and they tried to hold, but we rarely looked good. Did find a couple of good chances but there no composure or confidence in any of our front line.

Another bold prediction, I think Chelsea might escape relegation this season 😉. Joking aside, I think Chelsea will be fine and I think Potter will eventually get it right. The question, as always, is how patient are the Chelsea board in waiting for that to happen. Big test of patience for them if results don’t pick up soon.
