We missed that link between defence and attack too in Casemiro.

You got to hand it to Arsenal for standing by Arteta. He has built and moulded the side to the way he wants it. Shows what a little bit of patience does. Any other club, they would have sacked him.

Fulham clearly the better team so far. Enterprising and I’ve been impressed in particular with their direct approach in not only testing the Spurs Keeper from long range, but the darting run for example from Willian, not afraid at all to be fouled. This is what you want to see in football, not just the same predictable passage of play.

Top Class Kane. To be fair, Fulham didn’t deserve that at all; been really impressed with their application and work ethic throughout these 45 mins. Just in the closing stages though, Spurs upped their game and all of a sudden they’re a goal to the good.

Not a reflection of this half by any chalk.

Scoreline is a bt harsh on Fulham, slightly the better of the 2 sides, but neither goalie being tested a great deal, some very standard saves you’d expect Prem goalies to make…

3 points and a clean sheet away from home against another top6 side… I’ll take it… don’t know if we got better or Fulham got worse in the 2nd half… eitherway, not the best game of footy I’ve seen…

He holds his value and reputation as the main man and boy he grafted too tonight. Hard Luck Fulham; The endeavor was certainly there, but gradually fizzled out in quality and cutting edge. Good turn of fortunes for a change for Spurs; could be a springboard for them to build on this and restore confidence.
