Indeed Adlab. It’s a tough one. Fans expect the players to share the same loyalty for clubs that they themselves do. I’ve no doubt Aguero would happily joined Utd had Barca not come in and we offered him enough money. Look at Fabregas to Chelsea, Gerrard trying to leave Liverpool to join Chelsea. Benitez going to Everton. It happens. Grown men can make their own decisions whether us fans like it or not.

But yes, you are incredibly biased! 😂

Utd now seemingly in the Ronaldo race. Now if it’s a straight battle between the two, I think City may edge it. For all his admiration for Utd, I genuinely think he will place his own potential ability to add another CL above all else and nobody offers him a better chance of that than City.

Its pathetic really. It wouldnt bother too many City fans. More losses and more debt of they want. I agree with Pep. Our squad is good enough as it stands. I would much rather have a top class left back who can defend. Ronaldo would be good commercially and we would do better with penalties. A top left back would make more of a difference to the team imo.

I think Ronaldo to City just makes the PL even more intriguing even if it might well mean City retain the title it’s still great too see the best players coming to the PL and whilst Ronaldo might not quite be the player he was he’s still a great player and a great goalscorer.

I can understand how the United fans might feel if he were to go to City but players don’t have the same dedication to a Club as fans have.

Listening to Ole in his press conference it seemed like there’s a place at United for Ronaldo if he wants it so Ronaldo to City is not quite done and dusted quite yet.

I think you’ve probably hit the nail on the head there Ed Ronaldo’s motivation is more about trying to win the CL again than anything else and he’s got a great chance of doing that at City mind you winning the CL again in a United shirt would be very appealing too.

Commented on this above. United beginning to show the strains of not being successful despite the large sums they have spent. IF Ronaldo does sign for City they and Ole are going to look very silly. This on top of Fred , Sanchez and to a lesser extent one of our ex players(11million to us). Im surprised they didnt try to sign Aguero! Seriously though whats it about?

Ed, that’s a huge misconception about Gerrard trying to leave Liverpool for Chelsea.

He wanted a new contract after the cl final. Ckub never came back to him. Didn’t think he was wanted and decided to leave. Chelsea bid 32m for him.After talks with his dad, he decided he couldn’t move and was offered a new contract.

He also got offers from Madrid in 09 and inter and beaten Munich going by his biography

I wonder why Utd were in such a panic about this. Seems to me that it is on the lines of how can we stop City? To me it shows panic in the ownership and management.
