Hope you enjoyed the game cyber chum. I’m obviously gutted with the last minute equaliser and a little salty about some decisions. But ultimately I thought spurs strategy was sound and were unlucky not to get a goal or two themselves earlier. Would make a joke about kanes miss but the last minute equaliser he scored would limit its impact 😆
Anyway, got yourself a proper coach and team now mate so hope you enjoy the season, like I said was gutted with late equaliser but honestly feel on the whole the result was fair and spurs are better than last season.
P.s, in search of your new name for us, how about, oh I don’t know…Chelsea? 🤣

That’s what I do admire about Conte. He’ll try and give it his best shot and instill belief in his team. He took risk in committing players up the top end of the pitch because he was chasing a lead. But that’s the sheer beauty because that fills a supporter hope and confidence.
That felt a little bit like our 2-2 last season. Once Richarlison finds his feet properly there, he will rock up with the goals – hopefully not against us!

Foxy, yeah that’s what I was thinking. To be fair, afterwards from watching Tuchel’s post match interviews whether or not this has been back-peddled and played down, he’s basically put it down to the heat of the moment.
I don’t think he was that bothered but his gripe was the decisions that led to the goals and subsequently, the standard of Refereeing which given the anniversary of 30 years tomorrow of this great league, we are still speaking about Refereeing, and that’s with VAR!

The band is back together!!! I tried it three times in the mirror and loads of razor toothed 50 pounds notes appeared and attacked me, so I think it would be best if I stick with “The-Team-That-Cant-Be-Named”…
Anyway, normally feel guilty when we get away with a proper footballing mugging, but considering who we mugged I don’t feel bad about it at all. That first 45 was the worst I’ve seen us play since our last annual visit for a good rogering at the Bridge last Jan. We were certainly the worser of two evils on the day but, if I’m honest, I didn’t think “The-Team-That-Cant-Be-Named” were all that, and most certainly weren’t innocent of any shithousery tactics either. Matron should be sending both teams to bed with no supper.
All water under the bridge now, points are on the board, and we move on to the next game.

Good start for City with all the top contenders dropping points, Arsenal will go on good runs and bad runs, they don’t have the players to maintain a challenge to the end. Must say the Spurs-Chelsea game was a pulsating affair. Too bad both managers are going to get at least a 2 games suspension. Not going to help their teams.

VAR was awful yesterday I can almost accept Richarlison being judged not to be interfering with play when in an offside position but VAR taking no action for the hair pull on Cucurella by Romero was unbelievable. It’s not the technology that’s in the wrong it’s the people managing the technology that are at fault ie Mike Dean who was the VAR yesterday. I can’t believe Dermot Gallagher won’t call Dean out when he reviews the decisions on Sky today. It won’t help Chelsea but Romero should receive a retrospective red card for pulling Cucurella’s hair.

Loads of stories coming out about Ronaldo now. Hard to know how reliable it is, as ever, but the Athletic usually have good sources. If this is true, he needs to go. You can’t have your highest profile player going against the grain when you’re managing such a huge transition in playing style. Utd actually looked very good in preseason until Ronaldo came back, interestingly.
The problem is I think we may be stuck with him because of his wages. As good as Ronaldo has been, he probably was the main reason it started to pear-shaped for Ole and could well be the catalyst in Ten Hag’s own demise.
For those that wonder “how can this be the owners’ fault?”, reports indicate the players and coaching team are happy to see Ronaldo go but Joel Glazer won’t sign off on it because of his commercial value. While ever commercial aspects remain the priority, we’ll continue to lag behind on the pitch.

Yesterday’s conflict between Tuchel and Conte is not an isolated incident I was watching Arsenal All or Nothing last week and Klopp and Arteta almost came to blows at Anfield last season.
Controversial goals scored will always add to the problem.
