Despite that scratchy win something is not right and it’s Lampards job to get it going again. He needs a good run to take that kind of pressure off him and the team, not sure that they can do it.

3 points is 3 points as far as Chelsea are concerned but they weren’t great tonight considering they were playing against 10 men for half the game. Werner looks worse every time I see him this season. He got through right at the end and completely bottled it.
Chelsea need to keep getting these scrappy wins for now and hope their players play themselves back into form. I can’t help thinking they’ll still have a late surge and get in the top 4 at the expense of Leicester. Their squad is far too strong to not do so.

Chelsea can thank Mason Mounts regular performances for not being worse off then they are now, he may not have the skill of Pulisic or Harvetz or myself but his energy, thrust, work rate and speed on the ball make a big difference for Chelsea. His also been unlucky hitting the woodwork 5 times in EPL games this season alone.

I get the feeling a positive outcome for us out of this will hinge on Matip playing today. There’ll most probably be a check by the Physio and a series of tests to whether he’s passed fit.
There are less goals I see in ratio of late apart from the game at Wolves yesterday. Most likely be a 0-0 or a 1-1.
We haven’t particularly got a good record of late at Old Trafford and our away form hasn’t been great so I could see us crash out next Sunday. Can’t really afford to lost this with Man City breathing down our next and Leicester have to be taken seriously.

Think Nil’s right Liverpool’s best chance of a win today is Matip playing.
I think Liverpool need the win today more than United who even if they lose will still be level on points with Liverpool tonight.
Hopefully the game lives up to the hype and isn’t spoiled by controversy and everybody on here remembers it’s only a game and there are more important things in life than a game of football.
